Sometimes dealers send their orders in groups on certain days of the week. You could try calling/emailing them to see if they can accept yours right now.
I know for a fact that it's possible, between many reports from people getting the info from their dealer and seeing a few dealership employees on this forum confirming it. That's the last straw for me.
I asked mine about my place in line or if I'm wave one. They said they'll have to "check with management on if they've received word". This from the Internet Sales Manager.
I'm done.
It seems like wave 1 will be a single person for a majority of dealerships. I think they're testing the ordering process one more time and that wave 2 will be much larger.
Yeah, they're all over the place. Even more seemingly random than the Lightning/Bronco/Mach-E.
BTW, there's a tracker thread over on the new Silverado EV forum.

I think you're right! My Chevy contact seemed to be somewhat lost as to how the whole thing even works, and I'm pretty sure they didn't know the EV Silverado launched today. But they were probably going through some automated workflow that's focused more on traditional vehicle launches.
I also had a similar experience. Getting responses from my Ford dealer is like pulling teeth and when I do hear from them, it's non-answers.
The Chevy dealer called me within minutes.
From a featureset, I like what they've touted. I love that they designed the frunk in the same way Ford did. The bed is larger than the Lightning before factoring in the midgate configurations.
I think I'm in, but definitely not for the first launch version.
