They data sent to Ford is essentially a down payment on futurebetter software prediction models in 2030 and beyond for New Electric Iron on U S hwys. I want the first lightning 250 and the first F350 lightning these trucks are awesome
Wish it wasn’t so but alas I gave up, just VPN everything and hope for sanity to evolve by 2035. No reason for the year just a gut feeling it’s going to take a decade or more to get privacy back in the fold
63 years old and never used or worked on a computer after working on F4 phantoms in the USAF.Honestly the new app doesn’t take much time investment to see the progress Ford is making to make ease of technology reachable for us elders. Did love my ‘96 ranger five speed stick I bought new for 10k...
Tried something similar by testing DC charging at EA flawless for me as well. Kudos to Ford in allowing Tesla to hook up their charging stations as well. When I get my adapter I intend on doing exactly what you did. Seems like sharing successfully executed tests with the rest of Ford family...

Bingo here definitely fits a 62 year old retirement, gardening, beaching, family errands nightly recharging at .08 electric rate overnight I estimate at ten years and 80000 miles it will have paid for itself. Then gift it, buy a new one
We do need to stick together as EV owners, also blissfully retired, my lightning was a retirement gift from my wife. Up north ( in Orlando) our community is quite enthusiastic about EV. That was very kind what you did for the bolt
Had a short experience with multiple public “Tesla” chargers available to my XLT. All were Level 2, first one I used worked on a Leviton adapter truck got full charge that. Then too many neighbors rightly complained that they didn’t want to buy the adapter so community changer out plug/cable...
I did the same thing. Coincidentally I believe the $10 a month to Ford Connect was helps those downloads and updates process seamlessly and securely or I am just rationalizing $120 a year
