We have been getting into mid to low 30s and my 24 flash is doing fine so far. I run it on full auto and 70-75 range. It doesn’t warm up as fast as my old Mach E but it has been getting plenty warm.
You may want to bring it in to have the R1234yf refrigerant levels checked.
Also make sure your...
It will be interesting to see how they handle the credit going away. I would guess they will further de-content the lower trims and cut prices some more. They can only put so much money on the hood from ford, but still must remain competitive in the market.
I was doing the same comparison when I bought my Flash, I did not care for the two-tone perforated "leather" they had on lariat as my previous 2010 F150 had issues with it cracking and needing the seat cover replaced. Cloth was my preferred choice anyway; the rear seats however are not heated...
So to update and to make things weird. After the time change the truck did… Nothing this morning it didn’t precondition early or at all (which it usually does precondition).
So I am starting to think it may just be a bug in the app or server side time offset or related to DST changes.
The app...
I got a new mirror with homelink from bobsmirrors.com it was a simple unscrew torx, plug in new mirror and reinstall screw process. As long as you have a self dimming mirror with the plug, if not they have battery operated versions too.
shame they de-content the vehicle so much in the later...
I started doing it with MachE so it would retain full power available when it started gettting below 65f and it would pull max available power. Preconditioning kept the pack warmer so the full strength was available for longer.
I still jump in the truck for deliveries throughout the day so I...
I only start scheduling it for the colder mornings over the past months. Plus once winter does get here it will help keep pack temps up during the day when the truck is out and sitting at work. So, it’s still a good idea in my opinion even if garaged at 65f.
Is there a manual way to clear cache and user data on iOS? I thought that was an android thing but it’s been a few versions since I’ve used it.
No PAAK in flash from but that makes the reset process a tad easier as it just has to reactivate with the servers and no key setup.
Ty I was thinking it was app related since there haven’t been many updates I applied to this truck yet and it’s been fully up to date and working fine with the schedule I had until the last month or so.
I will wait for time change tomorrow and maybe try another master reset with another app...
Haha true maybe the truck was getting ready for daylight savings a month or two early.
last time I did a reset I noticed it was defaulting to Detroit so I picked NY which shouldn’t make a difference as they are same zone but I thought it was fixed until this morning.
It’s just weird it’s always...
It was in a heated/insulated garage which is usually 65 degrees, so I don’t think this was it. Also because the notification In the app is popping up early 6:15am in this case 2 hr before 8:15 set departure.
it’s also weird that it doesn’t get another notification at the correct time it ends...
Hello all,
I have a 24 flash that is fully up to date withe FDRS and the latest iOS fordpass app. Within the last month or so I have noticed a weird preconditioning bug that causes the truck to randomly start the conditioning 2 hours before the set time, then it sends an early notification...
CV axle shafts and usual wear items like brakes/bearings/tires would be the highest on the list I would suspect. Everything else has minimal moving parts but could still have random failures.
I would just go back to your factory as built files for all modules you hopefully saved beforehand. Just to verify everything is working, then re-apply the glare free mod
I had picked up a license for the weekend as I thought the new IPMA/PSCM updates would be up but for the 24 Flash all I had showing was a trailer module so did that anyway and back to fully updated. Nothing popped up on sun morning either like it did for Mike
My plug and charge randomly turned back on with a notification. it would be nice to have the zone lighting and pro power controls back in the app. I’m sure they are buried in there still somewhere just inactive
Depending on if they were dealer installed aftermarket or OEM factory boards, I can only attest to the aftermarket boards. They are wired to the lock/unlock wire and or door switch for the trigger to present or stow themselves. So most likely the trigger is sent from WAL, and they timeout to...
