The News Release for 3/31/2023
You'd better believe I'll be posting pics of the truck if/when it arrives. Dealer is gonna get it done before close today if it actually arrives as expected!Fingers crossed for all those who have been waiting for their trucks to move. I can confirm EvMainer's truck is physically on a truck heading to his dealer right now so it does appear the movement of some of these trucks is in fact real.
Sale must be complete and in service on April 17th 2023 (for the full $7500 value)So we have until April 18th to get our trucks.... Really hope it happens
For vehicles placed in service before or on April 17, 2023, the credit is calculated as a $2,500 base amount plus, for a vehicle which draws propulsion energy from a battery with at least 7 kilowatt hours of capacity, $417, plus an additional $417 for each kilowatt hour of battery capacity in excess of 5 kilowatt hours, up to an additional $5,000 beyond the base amount. In general, the minimum credit amount will be $3,751 ($2,500 + 3 * $417), representing the credit amount for a vehicle with the required minimum of 7 kilowatt hours of battery capacity.
They need to publish the final rules on the 17th in the Federal Register, bureaucratic process working to your advantage !!At least there are a little over two weeks to make it in under the wire, I thought they'd cut it off today!
Regarding the locations, US tracker still blanked out, but not to worry about that, it's a web site database glitchDo you guys see any updates to the order tracker at all, or just the usual "Your order is being shipped to [blank]"?
Mine has been blank for a few weeks, and I think it has to do with my truck possibly being sent back to michigan for a module replacement, but it about to be loaded onto a truck for final delivery now so don't let that discourage you.Do you guys see any updates to the order tracker at all, or just the usual "Your order is being shipped to [blank]"?
