Interesting that they gave you a definition of ETA as when it would leave for the dealer. That contradicts the meaning of the phrase. Of course we all know it is a moving target, but that doesn’t seem to make sense to me. Especially since we mostly all have different ETAs based on delivery location. If it was a departure time they should be mostly the same date, or close to it. But as you said we will see. What we can hope is that they have built in the delay to to the ETA to the dealer.

Spoke to Ford Marketing Today, they confirmed by Truck is sitting at Ramp 51, on Chip hold. But indicated that I would still be getting Truck between 11/17-11/23. Something doesnt add up with this.

I believe those dates include the chip hold time. Doesn’t mean the hold time is in weeks. Mostly I am convincing myself this is the case, I don’t know for sure of anything on this. But would make sense.

It’s interesting we’re getting conflicting information from Ford support. Maybe they need to train their reps better. Let’s hope that your rep was the one giving correct info.

On another note, anyone have a charger installed yet for their incoming truck? I purchased an Emporia 48amp charger and plan on installing this weekend along with a 14-50R for a backup.

Yep. I currently drive an e-tron and have a 40amp Grizzl-e hardwired in. It’s a dumb charger so no app to track usage/set charging times, but it’s been reliable so far.

Was quoted 11/21 "arrival" date and I asked for clarification on whether that was part arrival, dealer arrival, etc. The chat rep said she wasn't sure, but that this was most likely the date production would complete. So hopefully the dealer can get it within 5 weeks of that for the tax credit

Out of curiosity, I reached out to Ford via chat just now, and she told me that it is waiting for a chip, that should be installed between 11-15 and 11-22. So it sounds like they are giving inconsistent info, as just two days ago was given that same time frame for arrival to the dealer.

The steering wheel is the only one i have any hope for, and it has a very small chance at that. The scales and smart hitch are as good as gone IMO.

Funnily enough I got an email fromFord Canada that my charger has been shipped this morning.

The way Ford Canada did the chargers is different though, if you had an order in you were able to order your charger through their website. I did so back in late spring when it seemed as I was originally going to get my truck. They ship them out when your truck is weeks away so I’ll take that as a good sign.

Those dates mean nothing if you’re on hold. My delivery dates have changed at least ten times, and the truck has been sitting in Newark for eight weeks now, without a peep from anyone on what is actually the problem.

Were previous weeks on similar chip holds? It sounds like there is a delay of up to 7 days or so from the "in production" date to built/shipped. Hopefully we just need to wait several more days.
My XLT (Pro power as only option) had blend date of 10/23 and "in production" 10/24.
