I read if you pay at least 5% of the total bill you then that constitutes a binding offer with intent to purchase. Any idea if dealers are taking larger down payments? I'm probably grasping at straws but I am going to be annoyed if my truck comes the first week of Jan.

Yes, this seems earlier than we thought. My first email states to plan for a spring 2023 delivery. The week of 11/28 is great, though. Thanks Ford!

Might be worth talking to your dealer see if you can finalize the order before it comes in. I've heard Rivian can secure the order with a hefty deposit idk. Pretty nuts you got scheduled that fast

Yep! Bronco is amazing but it's not a great daily due to wind noise and mpg. Lightning will be a great DD.

I also got the 11/28 production. My 22 powerboost I ordered was delivered in 3.5 weeks this summer. Looking for the same magic. It could be a very merry Christmas as taking delivery in Jan I’ll be excluded with the income cap (First world problems).

Im really enjoying my loaded lariat hybrid..got a decision to make. I was fortunate to order that truck 10k off sticker so if I can cover my costs I’ll probably go with the L. Kbb values are still holding strong With the shortage of hybrids.

I've probably been following everything to do with the Lightning way too closely. I'm really pumped too!! It's great to finally have some kind of date on when I get to join the club. I'm hoping nobody gets moved back any from here.

I am not sure how taxes work on a big company such as Ford

But in our small company we try hard as hell to get everything we can out the door before the new year so we do not have to pay tax on items in inventory.

I bet they do all they can to get all they can off the books before year end.
