I'm not superstitious…however after waiting 3 + years of reservations on an electric truck and specifically 1 1/2 years on this one, what possibly could go wrong.

CSX phone system says my truck's rail car is scheduled to arrive in Jessup, MD this Thursday evening (the 12th). I'm assuming I'll be picking up my truck early next week!

Dealer just reached out...after I pinged them a few times...truck is in the ATL "on the ramp".

Someone commented earlier about the number of modules jumping substantially at the "end" of the build stage. I can confirm. I had been sitting on around 1140 modules for the longest time. Now that my truck is "alive" and I can see it in the FordPass app, I decided to check the number of modules again. It's now ~1940. So a huge jump, further proving the "chip hold" was real and that it's tough to trust the delivery estimates provided on Ford's website.

Am I the only person thinking that the Fold Flat, Lockable Storage still comes as part of the $10,000 511a package?

So mine came yesterday without this, news to me! Just got off chat with Ford and they're saying I need to go to the dealer and have them check if it was misbuilt or not.

I encourage you to contact your selling dealer. The dealer is required to complete a Misbuilt Process Checklist to verify if the vehicle is misbuilt, or to determine if there was a mistake made while ordering. They would be in the best position to address this concern.

Yes, if you follow that link it takes you to the different options. Here's what I've seen so far.

Financing - rates for 72 months are around 7.4%. 60 months was 7.0%. This is with a large down payment and pristine credit. I won't be taking those. Will work with credit union.
Ford Options - I was playing around with the 48 months / 10,500 mi per year. The implied rate is 7.4%. The residuals seemed low to me. I had read 50%. It looked for all the world to me like it was closer to 40-42%. I didn't try 36 month. Maybe that is where the 50% RV is.
Leasing - don't waste your time. Implied rate over 10%.

Anyway, you go in and can apply for financing right away or click to setup an appointment with your dealer, instead.

A script I wrote to pull status updates from United Road. If you have an account with them and an iPhone I can share it. As long as you can inspect a webpage you’ll be able to do it. The authentication cookie needs to be updated every 2 days though
