If you we're invited to order but extended your reservation because the Pro or XLT was not available, you are eligible for the private customer offer locking you into 2022 base MSRP, even if you ordered a Lariat or Platinum when you got your second chance. (You would have been in Wave 1 or 2 of the MY 23 ordering if this applied to you.)

Also, you get that offer if you had ordered a MY 22 but Ford wasn't able to build it and Ford made you re-order a MY 23.

If you only had a reservation for the MY 22, but were never given a chance to order a MY 22, you are stuck with MY 23 pricing in effect at the time of your order. As the @theblunden said, the additional price increases after the MY 23 pricing was initially announced have only applied to the Pro and XLT 311A trims. So, if you didn't qualify for the private offer locking in MY 22 pricing, I am not aware of any other price protection that could apply to the Lariat.
Was hoping for a discount to get me under that 80k... Sadly doesn't sound like that will be the case. Thank you for clarifying.

I THINK the $80k does not include dealer add ons and D&D. Find out of any of your options are dealer addons maybe?

Q2. Are there any price limitations on new clean vehicles eligible for the credit? (added December 29, 2022)
A2. Yes. The manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) for the new clean vehicle may not exceed the following amounts for the following vehicle types:

  • Vans - $80,000
  • Sport Utility Vehicles - $80,000
  • Pickup Trucks - $80,000
  • Other - $55,000
If the MSRP exceeds the limitation for that specific vehicle type, that vehicle is not eligible for the new clean vehicle credit.

The MSRP for this purpose is the base retail price suggested by the manufacturer, plus the retail price suggested by the manufacturer for each accessory or item of optional equipment physically attached to the vehicle at the time of delivery to the dealer. It does not include destination charges or optional items added by the dealer, or taxes and fees.

The Clean Vehicle Qualified Manufacturer Requirements contain a list of eligible clean vehicles, including fuel cell vehicles, that qualified manufacturers have indicated to the IRS meet the requirements to claim the new clean vehicle credit beginning January 1, 2023.

So are tonneau covers and side steps shipped not bolted on? I've seen people say that. In that case those would be deducted I guess?

They are shipped not bolted if you order them thru the dealer and not Ford corporate

Yet another shipping date missed. It is beyond frustrating at this point that my truck has been sitting in Atlanta since Jan 3rd and still isn't here. The worst part is no one wants to take responsibility. My dealer says 'Not our fault, hopefully it'll be here by the end of the month'. Corp says 'well we see it is in Atlanta, sorry'.

Woof!
Im hoping I don’t have the same situation when I get the call next week. A lot of people are relying on the IOUs. Speaking of which, I think this started a couple months ago - anyone hear if the payments are going out yet? Supposedly dealers get reimburse quarterly, I think I heard? I know it takes a bit

EDIT -ignore this, another thread has been started. No answers yet but that’s the place to track

Well, as I mentioned previously, my Lightning came in this week but I decided to let it go. A Lariat ER with the extended tow package. $89K. Stopped by the dealership tonight. $115K. $25K Added Mark-Up. And $799 Dealer added appearance package.

I think as sickened as I was that I was going to have to let it go - knowing that they were going to do this made me even sicker!
