Sent my dealer an email requesting an update last night, got an email from Ford that my Lightning order was updated. I'm going backwards. Built date is now gone from the heading, now shows In Production, with no date applied. Oh yeah, the price is now updated to $57k. Not the right direction at all.

Mine went “backwards” as well from built to order confirmed right before it shipped. Never marked as shipped on order tracker until it arrived at dealer. My dealer was able to confirm that it was being loaded on a truck soon after this point. Hoping for the best!

Got a new estimated delivery date "Estimated Delivery 2/16/2023 - 2/22/2023". Still hasn't been marked "shipped", so no idea how its gonna get here without that step.

My dealer is still saying it’s on a chip hold. Website says delivery 1/3-1/9 but as it is 1/5 now I am not holding my breath. XLT

I was very excited to wake up to the automated email this morning. Dealer still hasn’t called me yet but last week they told me they had marked it”hot” with ford which apparently is a request the dealer can make to move a vehicle up to the front of the shipping line. No idea if that’s a thing or not but that’s what they said. Been a lot of waiting but it’s finally almost here!

There is apparently a stop build and in transit stop ship order…. Dealer does not have an update at the moment as this is just breaking

Keep us posted, as your truck made it out of the factory on 2/13, hopefully they have already determined your truck is not impacted, as close as your dealer is to the factory, this was a same day shipment on 2/13

Confirmed with dealer that the truck was unloaded Monday 2/13 just before the stop delivery order went out. They are doing pre delivery and I’m scheduled to pick it up either Friday or Saturday. I asked for any details on the battery issue and they had none and said there has been no further communication from ford to the dealers.

Picked my XLT up from the dealer today. It was one of the last ones to make it out before the stop ship. So far I love it! Definitely worth the wait!

Got a new update today. Still says Scheduled for Production (previously had said Built 12/20), now have a new Estimated delivery date 3/3-3/8. Fourth set of estimated delivery dates I've seen since being "built" in December,

I don’t know what to say. I hit the gas and it feels like I get hit in the face with a brick. Doesn’t even make sense.

I never go full force anymore. A few times I did it, I almost passed out. Anything this big has no business being this fast. Youngsters with small sport cars (BMW/Audi, ... you name it) are shocked to be left in the dust by this monster. I think it is mostly out of my system now. Hypermiling is my new 0-60.

I thought this thread is done. I am surprised there are still folks waiting. I keep my fingers crossed for the remaining few. It is well worth the wait. Stay strong.
