Well, my warm fuzzy feelings are fading thanks to the dealership. Now I’m being told by the sales manager that the dealer is not involved in the price protection. There is nothing for them to do or submit. If price protection applies, it’s automatically done by Ford. Does this sound accurate to anyone?
Your dealer is misinformed/lying. There are several threads about price protection, I suggest reading through them if you want to fight the dealer on this.

I talked to Ford and then the dealer again. The dealer asked to give them the time. So I will be patient and reserve judgement until then. Can’t help but think what a lousy system this is. To put the consumer in the dark and in the middle of both entities. In the mean time I’ll enjoy my new truck. I really do love it.

Checked today and it hasn't shipped yet but shows an estimated delivery of 7/20-26
Got an email this morning that it has shipped. The order tracker that you don't have to login for shows it shipped on the 2nd and estimated delivery 7/7-20. Under my account it says estimated delivery 7/10-16..….could it be at the dealer already? I'm going to be near there today so maybe I'll drive by and peek.
Haven't heard from the dealer yet.

So they said there's no railcar number showing. Instead it is showing "in transit and received at ramp 2M, Lordstown OH"
They are showing a delivery estimate of 7/13-19

So three different delivery estimates.

And why would it be in Ohio????

Doesn't make sense most TX bound deliveries pass through IL @ Blue Island, west bound then south bound, Lordstown OH is SE of Dearborn

Too bad Fordpass just tells me it's unavailable.

That's a rare occurrence, not sure which carrier is bringing your truck, BTW United Road no longer allows ~public~ access tracking, they upgraded/secured the system for dealers and manufacturer accounts only.

Dealer called and said it has arrived. It will have to wait till Monday. We will see how it goes and what the Mrs says about the price. I know I'm not going to be able to front the price protection and then wait for a refund.
