How is it actually working for the chargers? I contacted Sun Run over a month ago and turned down all of their options except the charger and then they told me that Ford would send you the charger directly to me. Then I hear on this forum that's not the case. So I'm not really sure how we get the charger at this point.

That’s what I am trying to find out but it looks like one of the early deliveries signed a piece of paper saying SunRun would contact them within 5 days of delivery.

Looking through @TaxmanHog 's order list, of the 10 reported/recorded deliveries, they're averaging 14 days earlier than the forecasted (earliest) delivery date, with a high of 25 days early and low of 9 (excluding a couple of outliers). With my forecasted earliest delivery of 7/6 that would put me into the week of 6/20, which of course is the 1 week this year so far we'll be out of town...

Apart from the average, the table that I think you posted seemed to show the beat time increasing as delivery estimate goes later and later. So I say you get your truck BEFORE you leave town.

That would be incredible, thank you for putting that out into the universe!

Of those 10, they're all within ~500 miles of Dearborn. Will be interesting to see how the actual delivery dates occur relative to forecasts for those of us further away.

Sadly, Sunrun did not sign these as well

Your dealer is responsible for passing along your info and confirming the sale to SunRun so that they will ship the Pro Charger to your house. Supposed to be within 5 working days of delivery.

I'd start with the dealer.

5/5 blend date. Built 5/26. Delivery 6/17-23

Dealer says the last time the VR was updated was May 30th and location of my Lightning in that update was Ramp59. I’m not too worried about Ramp59 since there is a Railcar number and shipped email. But it looks like Ford isn’t updating the VR neither so it’s possible our trucks are halfway to the West Coast already. Week of June 13th is looking good IMO

Just visually compared second column and third column below. Gap increases with later estimated delivery.

Checked the "Order Track" site this morning...still "Awaiting shipment".

Coffee, yard work, etc. Check the internet for o-rings for a hydraulic connector on the tractor...the usual nonsense, check the Order Track once again....."Delivered"

Grab the wallet and sunglasses and the keys and announce my departure at headquarters.

Get there and park right next to "My Precious"

Quick look around for obvious damage, none found. Casually breeze in to the showroom where I got the "we were expecting you" treatment. And then the tale of my truck almost getting knocked off the back of the three-vehicle 5th wheel trailer as it made the left turn across the four lane to get into the dealership lot. Apparently the guy following wasn't paying close attention and when the back end of the trailer swung out (with my truck slightly hanging out over the end) he had to swerve dramatically (said the sales manager who was two cars behind this) and they thought my truck was going to get knocked off the trailer. "Missed it by.......that much" said the sales manager.

I'm not surprised though. I've always driven trucks that were just lucky.

Anyway, PDI Monday and finance is all arranged with the credit union. So I'm lookin forward to this and am very grateful that this dream became a reality.

61 miles on the odometer if we're keeping track of that sort of thing...

There was another Lightning on the same trailer. A Star White Platty. The sales folks were talking about the 93K MSRP on that one...

So somebody else here in North AL is getting one today too (it's probably at destination by now).
