They sent the email about a week after the status changed to shipped.
Are they giving you the price protection up front? Do you have to pay tax on the price protection? I’m meeting with my dealer this week to confirm everything g with the price protection and PCO.
Ford emailed it to me.
He made it sound like the price protection was upfront, but I am not 100% sure. If not, I may just say I'll wait to pick it up until that comes through (don't think it really takes 90 days if they push...) They also keep telling me they can't get into any of the financial details until the truck is on the lot. I bought an F150 there over 5 years ago, and know it is one of the dealerships where the finance department is completely separate.
Yeah, waiting for shipping confirmation and watching the delivery date move out is a bit aggravating. I finally broke down and built my own Lightning as a body conversion of my ‘94 F150 off-road regular cab…For some reason waiting for it to ship is really aggravating me... What is the record amount of time from ordered to received? I ordered 8/22/22.
Anyway, the HVAC guys are finally here - it's in there but they just had to run to the store for one last part for the new tankless hot water heater. And, ironically, the charger I bought off of Amazon was delayed with one of those messages basically saying it was lost, but it finally showed up and the electrician is coming tomorrow.
Lightning owners have no choice but to be a patient bunch...
In the meantime, I did lose some self control and ordered tailgate stickers for it. Trying to wait until it gets here before I buy any more items

Yeah, waiting can be aggravating, especially when the expected delivery date starts slipping too. I finally broke down and built my own Lightning from my old electric ‘94 F150 off-road regular cab… it is fun to drive while I wait!
