Damn, 6/15 blend date. In Az. No built email. Waiting sucks. Lol
Let me know when you get a BUILT date, I was looking for you in the 6/6 thread for the past couple of weeks, did not realize you left us for 6/13.

They’re trying to find cup holder lights for your truck
That’d be great. Or they could at least take the lightning out of the useless spots they took it and put it back into the useful places they took it from .

rear Door pockets > center console wireless charging.

Its been "quiet" today. Hopefully that means the storm is a bunch of shipped notices...

Reached out to my sales guy, and nothing was updated since the 30th.

So 6/15 blend date and 6/21 in production, but no built e mail. Not to mention it now says no window sticker released for this vehicle? It there was before.

So I just got off the phone with Ford according to them my truck is built and awaiting the next Rail car to be ready to ship. According to them they don't know when that will be it could be a week or more. My Blend date was 6/16 324/698. Whats even more odd is none of the on line applications say any of this for me, all I have is 6/23 production week and in progress.. Im in Northern Ca.

6/17 blend, in production 6/23. No "Built" update yet. :(

This is now the worst drag race ever between a Lightning and a Powerboost. :cautious: Whichever arrives first wins. Wife is really anxious about full electric (I'm all in, even with grotesque ADM), and I'm anxious about the Powerboost issues over on the ICE forums. So, fate shall decide.

Was rooting for my Lightning to catch a "Built" update today, but no dice. That said, I'm not sure how much stock to put in the "Shipped" status of the Powerboost (doesn't have a shipped date?).

I have to say, however, learning how to track every Ford vehicle getting spit off of a train and heading to these two dealerships has been a source of great amusement. And it actually gives me faith that I'll catch a heads up when one of these things finally does materialize in the ol' Commonwealth.

Isn't MA the state with the really big rebate? Does it apply to the Powerboost too or only the Lightning? You don't mention how big on the ADM, but I'd be working on that perhaps - reach out to Ford? I don't know if they really are pinging the dealer. Either way - the Lightning wins.

Yes, $7500 in top of the federal $7500, but only for BEV's with a GVWR of 8501# or higher ..... not Power-boost F150's

It IS. And no, doesn't apply to powerboost. But I have a couple things working against me on that.
  • I inherited this abandoned Lightning order due to dumb luck and a diligent internet business rep. So I have a deposit securing the truck, but for practical purposes this order became dealer stock and they're free to ADM the f**k out of it. Which they proceeded to do with shameless glee. $116K on a loaded Lariat ER, so you can do the depressing math on that. I'm basically convincing myself that I'm buying a Model X, but different, and getting to skip the line. Their Raptors are also marked up through the roof, so whatever gentle admonishments Ford Corporate is serving them is having "no effect on target," as we used to say.

  • The goober who put in the original order paid an extra $160 for the all-terrain tires. Which knocks the GVWR down below the rebate eligibility threshold of >8500 lbs.! So, essentially they paid $160 to lose the chance at a $7500 cash rebate. 😭

Ah - definitely a lot in play then that I didn't realize.

It truly all depends on your needs, but it is hard to go wrong with the Tesla. Just sold my 3 to get back in a truck, but if this truck doesn't deliver I'll be back in line at Tesla in a heartbeat.

Hah, sorry, I was unclear. I meant that I was justifying the ADM marked up Lightning cost by mentally comparing its capabilities to a Model X. (Not actually buying a Model X; just the mental gymnastics one does to swallow ADM Lol)
