Interesting news from my dealer today. I was #1 to order, and had the fastest reservation. But the guy that ordered 2 days after me (same trim, Lariat extended range) got his truck delivered yesterday.

Glad to see trucks getting delivered up here.

But bummed I'm still waiting

Same thing happened with me. I was the 1st everything for the dealership, but they said Ford pick the 2nd guys order first.

Mine was 6/9, still waiting for IN PRODUCTION status update, as are folks from 5/30 build week, we don't know why but this status update has been delayed from the 5/23 build week onward, I hope the logjam has broken as seen on 6/9 & 6/10 and that it continues the rest of this week.

No, it should update with a DATE at some point, as an example three trucks with a blend day of 5/27 updated to IN PRODUCTION with a date of 6/10 (14 days gap) if this continues we may be waiting just as long ..... I hope not!!!!

Trigger point might be when it's flagged built in the factory

Coming from a 5/23 blend date - going “in production” doesn’t mean much as they’re lacking components. Your truck will get built and sent to sit in some parking Lot for god knows how long.

I thought Regular knew his truck was done because he has a friend at the factory. There is some sort of lag between the tracker being updated, but no way for us to know if that’s being done intentionally or not.

I was closely following before but at this point it seems like such a crap shoot between blend date, tracker dates and delivery. Some people are going on months of waiting and others get theirs within 2-3 weeks.

My tracker has shown In Production, in Progress since late April so I think the dates are really general in nature. I have seen my MachE schedule show Production go green when when it's in the shipping step.

Yes, I seen his post from Friday 6/10 which was his scheduled build day, it is reassuring that they are working the line and my truck probably went down the line ahead of his on the 9th.

The tracker has lost it's worth with the severe delays in data processing and posting status changes.

Only a few weeks ago the gap from posting an actual "in production" date from scheduled blend date was only 0-7 days, now it's over 15+ and growing days.

Hiding the production data does not help [in my humble opinion].

Has anyone figured out the ryhme or reason on shipping? We have a build week of 6/6..the earliest i see is 4/18..have all the 4/18, 4/25 etc builds been delivered? If not then we may need to manage out expectations for delivery...from later this month first part of July to maybe August? I am sure there will be exceptions but are there people out there with 4/18 build weeks that haven't gotten their Lighting yet..that's coming up on 2 months and couting.

They call it First in, Last out

Ford will just ship whatever is most convenient/cost effective, not by some build date.
