@TaxmanHog, how do you get that map? I’ve only called in.
Manually generated it with CSX railyards as way points in Google maps, it's actually tracking the interstate highways instead of actual rail roads, close enough for retire bureaucrat work.

Exactly half of the Trucks in this build (that we are tracking) have delivered to dealer/owner!!

BTW, Saturday I will be off line most of the day, big MC ride north to Laconia NH, to remember the "Fallen 7" visit the crash site memorial and enjoy a safe day of riding with the Brothers....

Got a call yesterday to arrange appointment today. Picked it up, it drove itself most of the way home and I’m blown away. Everything about it has surpassed my expectations in the whole… 20 miles I put on it so far 😹

I’ve had so many meh car experiences. So much temptation for something nice. But this is so much more to me already.

I’ve never had such a smile on my face driving at the speed limit! Also, first trip roundup as I parked… 3.1mi/kWh 😮

Pick up for me is this morning. I definitely want to out some miles on and get accustomed to a few things. I’m off to Florida with it in a couple weeks.

I have the railcar information, that’s how I know I’m on day 10 of the truck being in Massachusetts.

The status when I call in days that it’s reached it’s final delivery location.

On United I have both my individual search for my vin and a dealer search. On my vin page it says inactive. On the dealer page, the truck doesn’t appear yet.

I think it may have originally ended up at the wrong rail yard, about 15 minutes from the final stop.
What has the rail car status been for 10 days? If it has never been "EMPTY" and United Road shows "Inactive", the truck is probably still in the rail car. UnitedRoad status updates to "Pending Pickup" when the vehicle is unloaded from the rail car and awaiting truck convoy to the dealership. As always, "YMMV."

The "wrong rail yard 15 minutes" away is probably the right rail yard...holding yard...because the unloading ramp/final destination cannot take the loaded rail cars yet. A mile of 50 auto racks will hold about 400 pickups, half again as many smaller vehicles. You have to have parking and auto haulers to get them out and a vehicle 'mix' to optimize convoy truck loading (6 vehicles, if you're lucky) to the individual dealers. "Just in time" manufacturing and logistics work great until there are hiccups in any part of the system.

Good luck, I'm 'inactive', too. I know exactly where my truck is, it's securely locked inside BNSF 314643 for several days now.

My Sacramento area delivery window was pushed back slightly from 7/31 - 8/6 to 8/2 - 8/8.

Just got back from picking up, going to eat and a quick ride to the beach. It was well worth the wait. My first impression was holy $’*@# is this thing nice. Great ride quality and of course the power.

Let‘s go @Ford Motor Company and get the rest of my 6/6 build week brothers and sisters their trucks!

I’m on day 10 of my Lightning being within an hour of my house.

Still showing as inactive on United Road logistics. Dealer has 7-10 other vehicles from the rail yard either just delivered, or pending pickup, but mine isn’t listed.

Making me a little nervous something isn’t right, but probably just slow to update on the website..
I don't know what is worse, it being within an hour away and no one doing anything, or it still sitting in Dearborn for 56 days?

Still showing as inactive on United Road logistics
"Inactive" in United Road has to mean it's in the rail car. Mine was just unloaded from the rail car in the last couple hours and it went to "Pending Pickup" in OVISS. The rail car was spotted Thursday afternoon loaded. It was still reported as loaded when I pulled it up early this morning. The rail car should show as empty in the next few hours when it is released back to the railroad. The dealer's mannequin has been Pending Pickup since Monday.

I think we can all start to get a better understanding of what a logistical juggling act this is for Ford, or any auto manufacturer - it's not easy. Ford has been doing it for over 100 years, and things have changed along those times, but we still rely on good 'ol trains and semi trucks to get our vehicles to our dealers. And, throw into that the fact that they don't produce almost anything in succession, such as colors, or trims, etc., it just seems to be the luck of the draw, although I'm sure there's a fine reason for it all - they know what they are doing. I don't like it though : /

My wife just said this morning, as she peered over my laptop, which showed my truck now 'in production'... "well, will it get here next week, then?".... hmmmmmmmm.... that was then a loooong conversation about transportation logistics for the next 5 minutes.
