Speaking of videos... we are doing a bronco build off between our 2 stores. If you are into Broncos these will be the thing that trips your trigger. When asked about a budget the boss said " No Budget" . These things are going to be bad ass.
Can I help you guys build it?!?!

BTW, I absolutely love the heritage edition. A red & white one makes me drool.

I traced my CN Tracking number again today. It told me it left Blue Island for Minneapolis at 4 am this morning. Hopefully my truck was on this train.
On page 80 read the posts on how we were able to trace my CN shipment via automated phone on another companies system.

That's not how this works bud. Go back and read the 20 pages. That's what's required to keep your membership in the thread.
Oook that crankiness tells me all I need to know

@Yellow Buddy is still constructively placed in a container at the Port of Newark getting ready to be placed on a freighter to who knows where

@Ford Senior Master's driver is lost in the Alabama woods somewhere about 5 mi from the dealership

@Commercial Sales Ford decided to re-watch The Wire before showing up at the dealer

@bobrosco stopped in for some Memphis BBQ on the way to TX

@krusshall's carrier decided to do some laps around Charlotte Motor Speedway

Picked mine up this afternoon, what an awesome truck. Still getting use to all the tech, and learning to trust Bluecruise/lane keeping. I'll second the comments on the bouncy ride, kinda annoying and surprised that Ford didn't get the tuning right. It won't be long until some aftermarket options are available, I'll definitely be considering them. I thought I would regret getting the drop in liner, but I was pleasantly pleased with the fit and finish. I'm leaving for a 400 mile plus round trip tomorrow, I can't wait!

I'm going to need to drop mine by 1.5-2". Firm it up, get some range. That should leave me with 6.5" of ground clearance....which is iffy.
I'd be on board with changing ride quality. You have any specifics in mind?

Eibach is supposedly testing a 1” drop kit. The dampeners would have to be changed to match, something stiffer there too.

If something doesn’t pop up I may look into some coilivers. The concern is going to be the weight.

It might be 6 months or so until something materializes..

Is it bouncy because you’re not coming from a truck? Or bouncy even compared to a leaf spring truck?

I'm comparing the ride to my 2012 XLT with fresh Bilsteins all around as well as my 2015 XLT with factory suspension w/ 70k miles (work truck). My 2012 is fairly well planted vs. the 2015, likely thanks to being heavier than the aluminum truck. Don't get me wrong, the Lightning rides much smoother than either truck, it just feels like it has a bit more bounce out back.

It's a weird feeling when accelerating especially. Almost like they allow too much travel. Reminds me of my 1977 Monte Carlo at about 110 mph. It just kind of floats. I'll be changing to an aftermarket coil over as soon as I can get my hands on a pair.

That’s a little disappointing.

On that note, does anyone know the suspension travel?

Mine is definitely a street truck. I don’t mind slamming her down. I need the bed to haul big things, not necessarily heavy things. I think the most I ever hauled in my Ridgeline was roughly ~450-600lbs.

I spotted some damage to the front lip once I got home this evening. I haven't gone anywhere near a curb, so I figure it must have happened during delivery. Hopefully the dealer doesn't give me a hard time in getting a replacement.
