Went to the Dallas Cowboys game this afternoon. (My first pro game) We drove by the GM Assembly plant in Arlington. Thousands of Tahoe’s and Suburbans parked there. They looked fully put together, my guess is they are stored (strategically placed?) pending chips.

I've gone about 3 weeks w/o driving my Tesla and went back to it today. Upon jumping into the Model S, here are my thoughts coming from the F-150L, many of which I verbalized to my wife until she got tired of rolling her eyes at me.

- OMG, please turn the steering down. It's so heavy. (She reminded me these were my settings to my key)
- It's noisy in here, was it always this noisy? Seriously, it feels like I'm in an airplane.
- I feel so low, it's like I'm sitting on the floor.
- Why didn't it stop? The regen doesn't feel like it's kicking in at all.
- What was that? Did you hear that? Is there a broken weather s..OOF.
- That was a big bump.
- You feel everything through this steering wheel.
- And these turn signals feels so flimsy
- Seriously, where's all that noise coming from?
- Where's my seltzer? Can you hand me my seltzer? Where the...why are there no cupholders in this car?!
- KIDS. STOP KICKING THE BACK OF THE SEAT. They wouldn't even be able to reach me in the F-150L.

At that point I was informed if I didn't stop, I would be walking back to my F-150L so that I could feel more comfortable with the driving arrangement.

That's my story of the week. @chrislittle we're just waiting on you man.

unfortunately I'm in a microchip delay and it'll be end of month before any new progress. There might be snow fall by the time it arrives.

My truck was rented for a publication so it'll end up on the internet somewhere. I was told I'd be sent a copy prior to publishing. Some folks out there are going to be really excited to see that the Pro comes with running boards only to be really disappointed later...

Update, being back in the house and having access to my charger again has made me way happier with the truck again. As well I tweaked specs to a 23 Hybrid we have incoming that got a vin for Build week 10/10 as a back up plan. Which gives me comfort knowing I have an option to get out of it if I need too. 2 road trips next week will give me the availability to test the charging network, and that is the last part of this equation for me.

Just drove by the new Tesla factory east of Austin. Pentagon 2. That’s the bed of daughters F250 Superduty Limited. Factory spray liner. Yup. I’m in the backseat on the autobahn. Speed limit 80.

@Ford Senior Master & @Commercial Sales Ford since I know you both work at dealerships I figured you'd appreciate this...

There’s a simple problem with a direct sales model. That includes Ford's plan for potentially keeping no EV inventory. It has everything to do with color selection and expectations.

Expectation of Limestone:
(1) Glossy Grey?

(2) Nah, light glossy gray.

Followed by that senses of panic as someone posts a video and you get a glimpse of the color you're supposed to get.

Wait..what?

Did I just buy a...a...baby powder blue truck?

As I watched the video all I heard was [In Samuel L. Jackson's voice] Surprise, MFer!

I spent a week starting at 60% and it makes a huge difference compared to starting at 90%. Hopefully this makes for a much more enjoyable experience

It's been 3 days so far and has already made a world of difference during those three weeks I had multiple days starting at 40%

As a salesperson this is one of my biggest pet peeves with new colors. You have no idea how to explain the color to someone when they ask because you've never seen it. Not all colors look the same on vehicles too. Iced Blue Silver Escape Ugly, Iced Blue Silver Lighting yes please.
