Completed most of the paperwork for my truck today. Will be picking it up tomorrow. No adm, accepted ford z plan. I was a little pressured to buy the extended warranty but didn’t get it. I’ll check out Flood ford for that.

I had only been tracking my truck through the vehicle order tracker and Ford chat, but I called and spoke to a very helpful agent who gave me more info than before.

He said it's "at the ramp as of 7/20, not showing any issues. I've had many customers who've had the same disposition and it just shows up at the dealer. ETA of 8/6-8/12, just no shipping details, but that's been very common too. Also, I'm very jealous you're getting a Lightning"

It was hard to quit smiling after I hung up.

Not really sure how you can have an ETA without any shipping info, unless they're just going with WAGs. Still, I'll take 'em.

They always show a potential ETA at the BUILT stage, only visible on your personal order page when it updates to that stage, as said above to another member, 24-48 more hours you might see it!!

I’m back to shipped status…sort of.

I got my shipped email, my reservation page has the shipped text again, order tracker is back in transit.

None of my shipped bubbles are marked, no ship date, and VVR from calling Ford says I’m awaiting shipment.

I can't make this stuff up.

I contacted Ford today for clarity, they confirmed that the vehicle has indeed shipped, then linked me to the order tracker which shows awaiting shipment

When I pointed that out, they gave me a tracking convoy number, the exact same convoy tracking number from a week ago with the same short haul company.

So at this point I can only speculate...

1) The short haul company is doing a long haul to delivery my truck
2) My truck hasn't actually shipped and is once again being moved from one lot to the other. Each time it moves, it's being "shipped" from one lot to another.
3) There's something wrong with Ford's system where it keeps triggering shipment when it hasn't actually shipped.
4) Someone went let's mess with this @$$hole who keeps calling us for updates

I got the 'Shipped' email from Ford this morning (again). My Ford account page and the Ordertrack app both now show 'Shipped' and 'In Transit'. The Ford order tracking site still shows 'Built' though.

Note that my Ford account page has a slightly different appearance now. It's a different font, all the previous stages (Order Date, In Production, etc.) that are in the past no longer show up, and now I can see the price summary and vehicle details which were not available to me after the dealership changed owners and I had to log in the alternate way.

We probably got caught up in an IT change which is triggering the emails and neither of our cars actually shipped the 1st time, and probably not this time either.

My Blend date was 7/14. truck arrived at the dealer 7/28. I picked it up Aug 1st because i was out of town. Dealer is located 21 miles from Rouge plant. Hope this info helps some of you. I couldn't believe it came so quick!

New procedures coming to the COMPLETE PURCHASE phase soon (8/4) we're supposed to be able to finalize the sales transaction online, walk in and pick up the keys. Note sure how third party bank financing or trade in vehicles will be handled.
