Correct the long plastic thingies that are on the outside of the truck with little lights in them, that get abused are $2800 not installed too.

Shoot I Don't know if we can get gold plated handles for that cheap.
We're going to need to delete the post before @bobrosco sees it and asks for $2000 for the pair. Maybe put a decimal in there. $28.00. I'll offer him an even $20.00 for the pair.

Not really, but I'm wondering if they're practical to ship from TX to NJ? First I gotta get the truck.

I did get the rail line from Ford Chat, and CSX gave me info from last month: 7/18

If you're that close to Dearborn, have your salesman call you when it lands, that's the quickest way to know, it might actually be in transit soon. monitor ordertrack.app it may show delivered to dealer status before you see it go in transit.

Thanks, I've been refreshing OrderTrack every couple hours lol. I'm about 7.5 hours (470 miles) plus a border crossing from Dearborn. I'll send him a text to see if he's seeing a change on his end.

It's probably not actually practical, depends on how much you would want for them. I just took a look at shipping and it would be ~$270 retail, might be able to get that down to about $145 with some discounts I have.

If you have a local buyer that is probably the best thing for you, but if you are in a - need them out of the house - situation, that's probably the only situation where it would make sense.

As for CNR - You can call them at 800-361-0198 and give them your railcar to track it, but supposedly they are in a joint partnership with CSX.

CSX system says it was delivered 7/18 to Gibson Indiana to IHB (Indiana Harbor Belt) which is right outside of Chicago. CNR has aa hub based on their map and it looks like you'll be riding CNR CNR straight down south based on this map:

I'm not sure which part of Texas you're at, but you'll likely be switching over to Union Pacific at Memphis TN to bring you into TX.

Edit: UP doesn't have an exact match, but said there was a car # 982378 at Marion, AK that is sitting empty since 8/8 and scheduled to leave at 8/11. Marion, AK is right outside of Memphis TN.

It might be worth calling Ford again if you haven't spoken since 7/18.
You could have a new tracking number. You could be scheduled to leave 8/11 and the truck hasn't moved from CN to UP yet.

I think the CSX info is just old. My truck went “in production” on 7/18, so it couldn’t have been in Indiana that quickly. The UP info I got on Arkansas (AR) has to be a different car, numbers are the same, but the letters are different.

One phone call later and CN told me it was released from Flat Rock, scheduled to depart this afternoon and would be transferred to BNSF tomorrow.

I assume they'll take it to Dallas/Ft. Worth or Houston to be trucked from there.

In all seriousness, you should contact Ford to see if they have any more information. I wonder if it's built but it's stuck in QC or had to be sent back.

Our Iconic Silver Pro's are probably sitting next to each other. there are 3 of us with Pro's still awaiting built and shipped status in @TaxmanHog 's great tracker. Hopefully soon we'll get released. Its such a bargain I simply can't get upset about it with the new 2023 pricing....
