I'm loving my truck so far. Got window tinting done and replaced the antenna with something a little more discrete haha. Plan to install bed cover today.

Software updates are my main sticking point right now. Have no idea what version I'm currently on, but some of the features that I see mentioned in recent PowerUp updates are not present (like I don't see the game DoubleSum mentioned in the Wikipedia version update history page associated with 3.2: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Power-Up_Version_History). Have followed all the guidelines for setting things up to allow updates, but haven't received any updates yet. Fingers crossed it'll sort itself out before too long.

Picked my Lariat up today. Dealership was super busy and it took longer than I was hoping but man, this thing is fun, fast, and quiet. Can't wait to put a bunch more miles on her.

I took delivery yesterday and all went well at the dealership. MSRP as promised. I was also able to setup PAAK at the dealership but only received one key fob. I did not have the yellow twist lock 240 amp adapter in the truck. Are they not shipping with the adapter anymore? So far so good, I really like it. I got 2.3 mi/kWh on a 70 mile interstate trip home with flow of traffic. (70 - 75 mph) I was hoping for better.

I asked the same question recently about the Tesla adapter and 240 plug. Mine didn’t come with them either, though I saw them in a dealer mannequin. TaxmanHog said they were only included in the early build weeks. The LENZ J1772 to Tesla Charging Adapter is $47.99 and the Parkworld 691944 NEMA L14-30P to NEMA 14-50R adapter is $21.99 on Amazon.

Always had them since I received the truck and setup my driver profile configuration.

I tinkered with it again today, noticed that it will work via the center stack Sync4 display or the Android Ford pass app, but not both ways simultaneously.

Make sure you phone & truck Bluetooth configurations are setup.

Yep, I’ve got Bluetooth on and have been running CarPlay. I did a chat with FordPass support on Thursday. After they asked me what the scales were, I didn’t have high expectations. Had to send them a bunch of links explaining things and showing the scales and smart hitch tabs under the vehicle features & settings. They basically asked me what version the FordPass app was (4.20.0), my iPhone iOS version (15.6.1), then had me do a bunch of trouble shooting. Eventually I removed my Lightning from FordPass and re-added it. Was told to give it a few hours and see if they showed up (they didn’t). I also did a master reset on the SYNC 4A screen, which also didn’t help. They told me to contact them back if it didn’t work and they could have an “engineer” look into it. May try again next week.

Mine got delivered last night to my small dealership in Buda TX. Unfortunately they are closed on Sundays so 24hr more to wait. Went by to see i could find it, unfortunately it is hidden out of sight. Sorry in advance to my family for how anxious I’ll be all day. Hehehe

They do have a “used” platinum on the lot for $139k if anyone is interested. Lol.

Turns out they received it Saturday afternoon and got it done then. My sales guy knew I would be wanting to pick it up asap.

I've been beating up my dealership tonight wondering why some little dealership in Buda already has received a truck from the same railcar and this mighty dealership doesn't even know they have a truck at the railyard...even though I told them on Friday that the railcar was emptied on at Kirby. Looks like I've managed to eliminate all the mandatory environmental dealer add-ons that they were going to add and lit a fire under my salesman to get the truck in and prepped.

Truck off the train since Sunday and still there since I last checked with chat. Hoping that'll get to the dealership at the earlier end of the Ford estimate delivery window rather than next week.
