Is it strange to have a convoy tag when it’s headed to Southern California? I would have guessed rail.

If the dealer is 300 or fewer miles from the Rouge then CONVOY, otherwise it will usually roll out on rail to further out destination, we've seen exceptions to this recently.

Hey! Be nice to Chicago. My truck coming to Northern, VA also convoy - but I think this is the norm, the drive to Dearborn isn't too bad, but it's still over 450 miles.

Yea.... Nah. We in Wisconsin will never be nice to Chicago! Honestly wonderful downtown if they keep the crime under control... but for those in the upper midwest driving anywhere to the East you are forced to drive right into the heart of a 3 hour nightmare getting thru Chicago.

My lightning might be making a trip in the opposite direction for the Packers @ Lions game in the fall... and Im getting some range anxiety getting stuck in Chicago already just thinking about it!

Blend date Monday 8/15, #4 out of 843. Hope the workers at Rouge are less rusty on a Monday morning than I am.

I'm in Maryland and the sticker says convoy, ramp CJ59. All the window stickers for gas F150s at my dealer say convoy. Maybe with the rail issues Ford is shipping more by truck? At $1,795 per F150 it seems they could make it work financially.

Well, in an EV getting stuck in traffic does not hurt as much as getting stuck in a non-EV. Driving slowly consumes far less power than typical freeway speeds.
