I had to drive past the dealership this evening so I figured I’d stop by and check if I saw anything. I think it was offloaded in Mira loma on Thursday night so I thought I’d take a chance since it’s been a couple days, but nothing there. Hopefully get the call sometime next week.

Congrats it will all be worth the stress when you settle in to enjoying this EV..
😁
I agree, having gone through some trials and tribulations with my dealer. In the end you have an amazing truck and the dealers only win when they frustrate you to the point where you walk away and they end up with a truck they can mark up 20K. So in the end win, win for you brother.

My first drive to San Diego to pick up and spend time with my daughter at SDSU was the best drive up and back I've ever had, with the power to cruise up a long grade the lightning flattens out the drive. The smooth and quiet ride is amazing compared to my 2011 prius or 2004 F150 Lariat. The trip is 90 miles one way and I was at 97% SOC, the guess o meter predicted 227 miles of range which should be plenty for the trip up and back plus going dinner in San Diego. The trip up I averaged 2.5 at a speed of 65 to 70 mph, only drove 14 miles to dinner and back to SDSU.
On the trip back GOM said 128 miles of range so I was running 75 to 80 with some very impressive burst of speed to get around or away from other drivers, basically showing off. Arrived home with I think it was about 30 miles of range and for sure it was 13% charge remaining. This trip replicates the same miles I will do to visit places in the Los Angeles area, the SR Lightning will do me well.
Plugged in at 13% using my Emporia 40amp charger at 9pm and it says 6:30 am for 100% but I will stop it at 85% for my around town and 14 mile up and back work week driving. Today I will pull my BBQ trailer around town just to see how that feels compared to my 2004 f150 Lariat, and it's for sale so I might find a buyer while rolling around town. Also want to try DC Electrify America for the first time today or tomorrow. For you guys still waiting hang in there you are a lot closer than others who havnt had the opertuninty to order yet., and when you finally pick it up the wait will be well worth the wait. 😁👌🏾 I will post a pick of the trailer hooked up later, and thanks to @TaxmanHog for all your help, you really made this process easier with all your work. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

As I write this post the lightning hit 85%
Took 8hrs.

PS
Don't know why I didn't take any pictures, guess I was just enjoying the day so much it slipped my mind.

Chat update from this morning....not sure I would call it an "update". :ROFLMAO:

"The vehicle has arrived at a 'hand-off' location and is awaiting pick-up by the next rail carrier. The carrier name is Indiana Harbor Belt Rr Co (Blue Island, IL) with an ETA of 10/5/22. This information was last updated Sep-21-2022, 18:36 CT ~ Railcar # TTGX705588"

My truck was in Blue Island for 10 days. My "update" from today is:
"I am unable to track a live location once a order is in transit. I do show the last location was Blue Island, IL. The railcar details aren't available at this time."

For the ETA i got a single date now. "ETA 10/7/22" which is the last day of my previously given range.

So progress, i guess.

Mine is still in blue island IL according to ford chat. Probably means it will arrive towards the back half of my estimate if it doesn’t move by tomorrow
