Thanks for the response! hopefully I’ll get into one of the next Waves. I do love my truck, but that 36 gallon truck at $3+ per gallon is tough with the miles I put on. I’ll definitely keep hope alive.

I was actually surprised I was 11th at the dealer I ordered at considering I was fairly early and they aren’t too big of a dealership. Nice people though, that’s where I got my GT500 from so hopefully I can work with them again.
I have a question. I ordered on 5-20 at 7am, I’m 11th on the list of 80 that my dealer received a reservation for. Do I even have a chance to get one of these before 2024?
I’m in MN as well. I have a 5/19 resv and am 7th in line at a dealer who was allocated 1 MY2022 lightning. It sounds like most MN dealers have 0 or 1 allocation and a handful of large dealers getting 3 and I heard of one getting 5. Because our ZEV status as a state doesn’t kick in a couple of years it will be a slow go here. I’m hoping for a chance at a 2023, but it it might take longer :(. Last week I ordered a Mach e and am hoping it will arrive this summer, I’ll drive that until the lightNing arrives.

Order my Lightning today. Lariat Extended Range in Rapid Red Metallic. 20 May reservation - 3 Feb notice to order, no dealer front-of-the-line privileges, no ADM. I was told they had over 50 reservations, and I was the sixth to order at this dealership. 20+ weeks for delivery per Ford’s website.
Looks like your year in the order sheet is 2012 instead of 2022 and its throwing the report part out of whack

Yup, and there are several other records with wacky dates, it would be nice for the administrator to go and cleanup the obvious errors.

05/19 reservation holder. I reserved in a few hours from the point reservations were open. I have already switched a couple of dealers hoping to get into the wave, but no luck. All dealers were telling me that they did not get any reservations yet or they simply dont know.
I see a lot of people from TX in the order list here, also as per CEO Jim Farley, TX is one of the top states in the order list.
Anyone from DFW area knows which dealers around are getting the allocations? Even elsewhere in TX is fine with me, I am ready to get on a road trip for getting in the wave!!

Thanks in Advance,
PP
I am also a very early timestamp holder. As far as I can tell the timestamp is functionally meaningless. Even though Ford PR likes to make it seem like we're all just standing in ta single file line, nothing could be further from the truth. I just had a very frank conversation with my dealer and he is at his wits end with Ford corporate. They just got their first allocation yesterday, and as far as he can tell, he was one of the lucky ones in PA. I am number 3 on his reservation list of 44. And he thinks I am probably not going to get a MY22. He is blindsided by this because he had great allocation and fulfillment on MachE. I jumped at the Lightning immediately because I had faith that Ford would have their stuff together. When we bought my wife's Tesla, all of the horror stories about communication were true. I figured Ford is a grown up company that knows better than to overpromise and underdeliver.

Even in this small sample size, look through the list and you'll see quite a few completed orders in CA with reservations dated after 5/20, some even into August, supposedly without dealer prioritization. I am in manufacturing. I get that the supply chain problem is real, that doesn't excuse poor communication or outright deceptive marketing.

All that said, the fact that it's on your shoulders to try to game the system being an early timestamp holder is a well supplied state speaks volumes. Ford needed to do better managing expectations and limiting the number of slots available for MY22.

If you go price a gas powered crew cab 4x4 youll get to 60K pretty quick. I looked at the pro but they were sold out before I got my invite. The XLT is close to the same price as the lariat when you add the larger battery. I also don't want to wait another year.

Sounds like you made up your mind. It is hard to justify the lariat being almost 2X the cost of the pro... but it's no different than pricing for ICE trucks. Lots of limited and premium trims.
Yes, I’m aware of the price of a truck these days, just too rich for my husbands taste. He’s still stuck thinking 40k is a lot for a vehicle and that buying new is a loss leader. We usually lease new or buy used. By the way what model have you ordered?

Gas for $3 a gallon, where do you live? ? we are paying over $5 in CA, and I live less than 30 miles from a refinery, go figure.
