The Playbook shows the Lightning as NOT eligible for X plan pricing. Slide 32 of 44 (slide number on slide says 33).
It's been said for months that XPlan pricing won't be available.

As far as we know, the Platinum is fully-loaded. A fully loaded ICE platinum is $76K. Trucks cost a lot.

After tax credit, there's a ~$7k difference.
Even with said $7,500 tax credit, the Lightning Platinum is roughly $82,500 plus change. Still about $6,500 over the price of a fully loaded Platinum. Will people accept the extra premium? Given how much the new Grand Wagoneers are going for fully loaded (over six figures... ouch!), it's possible.

Does anyone know what the "Max Towing Package" includes? Does a Lariat+ without the max tow package still come with a hitch/light connector?

ADM, no X plan, or no tax credit would all be deal breakers for me.

I believe the max towing package is extra cooling for the battery (and motors / power electronics?)

What is Ford smoking? I suspect the Lariat 511A with Max Tow package will be a wildly popular choice (according to the playbook the Lariat 511A will be the most-produced option for MY22). Why would they make it $80,034 when there's ongoing discussion about the new tax credit getting capped at an MSRP of $80,000. I just don't understand this; they couldn't have dropped it by $35? Or am I missing something?
If this discussion actually results in a larger tax credit with a $80K cutoff, Ford will certainly adjust the price accordingly.

It possibly could also include income cap restrictions.

Yup Manchin was one of the people in the Senate that was pushing for a $40k MSRP and $100k/family income cap. Since none of the Lightning trims would qualify (destination pushes the Pro over), I think it is best to just plan on no tax credits and budget accordingly. Then you won't be disappointed or caught by surprise if it isn't there.

That XLT price is a huge kick in the balls to get the ER battery. Seriously... what the hell??
If you're going to use up a bunch of Ford's very limited battery supply, then they're going to make sure they make a whole lot of money on it.

As a shareholder, I get it. As someone who would love a Pro ER, it sucks.

And Lariant+ is just $5k more costlier than XLT+?? Either something's wront with this price calculator or Ford marketing team has just gone crazy and pushing all potential XLT+ buyers away!

It's almost as if they had been planning to add the extended battery in the XLT PLus but either forgot to add the ER in the package or forgot to bring the + price back down after they decided not to add the ER.

I don't think it's an accident. They want/expect nearly half of '22 buyers to buy the Lariat+ ER according to the allocation forecast. XLT SR is a horrible deal compared to Pro. XLT+ ER is barely cheaper than Lariat+ ER. They want everyone to buy Lariats and they've priced the trucks accordingly.
