Installed a Dashcam this week... 3 channel Viofo A229 Pro. Was able to run all the wires up through the headliner for a nice clean install, hardwired to the fusebox on the passenger side.

Main unit behind the mirror, wires run up the same way as the mirror wires:

How did you wire it into the fusebox? Which fuses did you use or did you plug in new ones?

I don't remember which fuse I tapped into but I used a fuse tap. There are a lot of spares in the fusebox by the passenger footwell. If you want to use the parking mode, you have to use two fuse taps, one for power all the time and one that only energizes with the ignition.

Installed the Putco LED emblem on my Flash. Looks great!

I installed using the fuse tap into fuse 48. Emblem comes on whenever the ignition is pressed and shuts off immediately when I turn the truck off. I also used a dremel to notch out the fuse box cover so it closes Note for any 2024 owners, the emblem does NOT light up when using pro power when the truck is off. This is great news because I know that was a sticking point for some. Hopefully when this update rolls out to 22-23 trucks you’ll have the same functionality.

One thing I did notice was reduced radio signal strength. It didn’t kill them completely but I live 35 miles outside the city and don’t get great reception close to home anymore. Feels like 15-20 miles of reduced signal strength. The closer I get to the city, the clearer the signal gets. Thankfully I usually listen to satellite or streaming music.

Sell original 2024 F-150 Lightning Flash Front Grill Emblem?

For anyone that has upgraded to the LED emblem I was wondering if you might be interested in selling me your original emblem. I'm looking for the original emblem as I hit a deer that ran out onto the highway at night back in December and it destroyed my grill and plastic emblem. The camera and bracket that holds the camera to the emblem is still good. The body shop that is repairing my 2024 Oxford White F-150 Lightning Flash can't deliver the truck back to me until it's complete and this emblem part is on backorder by ford with no delivery date in sight. I believe the body shop as I've tried to source it from ebay and ever where else and it's just not available. The body shop has ordered a couple other variations hoping it would fit but it looks like the 2024 Lightning (flash?) version is different that what is used on the ICE.

Let me know. I understand some of you might be keeping it to return back to stock but I'm willing to make it worth your while just to get my truck back in my garage.

Added this safety seat for smaller passengers. Higher end models support remote ejection from the vehicle in case the passenger is being a real pain in the butt, but I'm kind of on a budget now so I opted for the base model.

Trying to figure out how I am still alive. At that age I was running unrestrained in the back seat of the car with holes big enough to fall through in the floor board. It gives me chills thinking about it.
