My dealer gave me a screen shot of where my fathers Lightning is. He said they will keep me updated.

Mine showed shipped and never showed ETA, but luckily I know it’s moving. Ask your dealership to see if they can track it.

Same here. Status just changed to Shipped on the tracker page, but Ford.com account has not updated from Built . . . no ETA.
I think there are a bunch of Cali Pros in this build group. So, hopefully they are all on the way now.

I’m 11/1 blend date and I’m still waiting on a chip I don’t think I’m going to get mine before the end of the year 😔
Same here... Not sure if I'm on chip hold, but still showing in Production, even though 11/1 blend date. 3 weeks in production basically. Gonna ask the dealer if he can get any updated news.

The only thing I actually care about is the tax credit. Doesn't matter if I get it in December or January in reality, but the tax credit is meaningful.

Pretty loaded Lariat ER. Drop in bedliner....

We have the same build! I’m not worried about the tax credit because I don’t think I’ll even qualify for it.

There aren't too many restrictions on the current EV tax credit AFAIK. We took it on our Mach E from last year.

Interesting though, in NJ, there is an EV tax credit pool that runs out of money in like 4 weeks each year. But Ford did the stand up thing last year and credited the tax credit value back to a bunch of NJ customers who ordered Mach E's but missed the tax credit window. Wasn't many, less than 100 customers state wide, but it was great that Ford did that.

Actually influenced my decision to get the Lightning vs a Rivian.

I actually believe that given the auto industry sales volume environment, Ford is pulling out all the stops to ship as many cars/trucks as they possibly can this calendar year, so there's a decent chance we'll get ours this calendar year, even if they have to remove half the damn content from the truck and then retrofit in the field when the parts become available.

F Series is so important to Ford, that they're probably pushing like crazy to move as many units as possible.

Dealer confirms its on railcar but no official ETA. Guesses 2-3 weeks.
I bet we are on the same rail car. I’m guessing two weeks also according to a screen shot update of mine in transit. Not sure what the rail car is though.

Yeah, I was hoping the Cali squad might be shipping together. In a follow-on message I got the railcar: canadian national railways TTGX853634. Let me know if that matches yours . . . you seem to be getting a little more intel on location/progress.

Mine says In Production so I know they are spending extra time making mine really, really nice.
They're making sure your Frunk speaker connection is extra tight! (At least we know how to disable it now)
