Who did you go with for a dealer? I ran into a guy driving a Lightning over the weekend who I think went with Capitol Ford in San Jose. Said he had no issues, and they honored MSRP for the transaction.

yeah thats my dealer! they have delivered 3 I think. they have been pretty good to work with so far. who did you go with?

Nice! Yeah, the guy I spoke with said he was the first in the Bay Area according to them. He said they were great but knew nothing about the truck lol.

I went with Towne Ford in Redwood City. I lived there at the time of my reservation and have been there a few times. They have always been good to us, but this is my first-time custom ordering a vehicle with them.

@TaxmanHog @Labs4Lightning Who the hell do you believe. OrderTrack site says shipped. Ford has both "In Production" and "Built" with now 4th ETA (Aug 2 - Aug 8) and Dealer says they get a pre-delivery notice about 48 hours before it arrives and they have heard nothing. If it shipped over the weekend they certainly by now should have received a heads-up. FordPass won't let me activate so unlike my friend Labs I'm totally flying blind.

Order track is accurate and always early alerting the shipping status update.

The Ford SHOP sites will take up to 12-24 hours to synchronize from the database order track is able to read.

US site update in my view, you may need to flush you cache

Canadian view

Your personal order page should also update in 12-24 hours.

My delivery window went backwards! I’m now back to 7/23-7/29. I hope that’s a good sign. I’ll actually be in the area tomorrow.

Just for a laugh - you might still get your before me. With low SOC needs 5.5 hours on charger. So monday didn’t happen. As I mentioned along the way tire 🛞 pressure low. They ordered new tire didn’t show up today. Now I have to wait until tomorrow afternoon. I think I might just ask to put spare on.

Is anyone’s dealer honoring the $1,695 Destination & Delivery charge that was shown at the time we placed our orders? Window stickers show $1,795 while the dealer selling price in my ford.com account still shows $1,695.

They are supposed to use the Smart Vincent system and select the Protection Date instead of sale date to recoup the write down of the $100 difference for the D&D fee.

Any update from Towne Ford? I called them today and they updated my delivery by a few days to 8/2 to 8/9. They couldn't give me any more details. He said they've received maybe two or three customer trucks and have their demo but are cleaning it and should be available to view this weekend.

No word from them but my delivery window shifted a little bit to 7/25/2022 - 7/31/2022. I hope one of those is mine! I'm selling my current truck tomorrow morning. How great would that timing be? Maybe I'll creep by on my way home tonight, I have to pass right by them....
