Well, I just got another response from another UP support person (in the same thread), and they confirmed that my railcar would arrive on 7/23 but said that it's destination is not Benicia. UP says they have another facility in Milpitas (then Mira Loma). But, a 2021 thread I found before said UP goes to Benicia for Ford. Now I am confused We'll see if they indulge me more and tell me it's final destination.... And, they didn't...

There is a large auto railyard in milpitas. It's mainly GM products that come in and Teslas that are shipped out. I have seen Fords there on occasion, a couple GT350s. The good thing is that it doesn't seem like cars sit there very long.

Got some info on my 6/18 from my dealer this morning. His report shows that it's pending inspection for quality control checks. Estimated delivery 'Summer 2022".. summer still has 92 days they better get moving with the QC inspections stat. I ain't got time for that.

Took delivery this afternoon. This truck is amazing.

So much quicker than the MME Premium ER AWD I sold last month, and that thing was fast.

The ride quality is so much smoother than the 2014 SuperCrew XLT that I had up until last year.

Fit & finish, build quality all superb.

No funny business from my dealer with ADM or anything. I was their first customer delivery. They have a wait list of 300+ in my small town in Eastern NC. The truck was just delivered last night and someone had already come by trying to poach it offering $20k over sticker.

The Smoked Quartz is beautiful. I switched from Iced Blue Silver and while that's also a nice color (saw it on the dealer mannequin), I'm glad I switched.

I was just looking for UP and Embargo on the Googles and I found this on their website:

UP goes into Benicia for Northern Cali Deliveries.

Unless I am mistaken, someone asked for an Embargo to where our NorCal Trucks need to unload to just Yesterday, and it goes into effect 7/22....

I hope it means trains not on the rail currently... the UP tracking says mine will arrive 7/23.

Is your train going through Industry ca? I’m the same delivery window in Fairfield. The trains I’m tracking is in route from Nevada to Industry ca due to arrive there Friday.

Ohhh ok I thought it was weird that it would go south before going north. So I know it left Nevada yesterday. Is it probably coming straight here ?

alright fellas, given the estimated delivery dates for the norcal express folks getting moved up, and gorwell's 07/23 arrival date holding, we're feeling pretty good about this weekend right?!

Man I hope so - I have a date with my wife planed next week, would be neat to take the truck to the bay area for that.

Gentlemen and Ladies too, I've updated my vehicle status here. Moved from F150 Lighting XLT (Order) to just F150 Lighting XLT

She's sitting in the Driveway now.

No ADM but there was still funny business and the usually dealer games with useless addons, talking to the manager, and upsales. Took a little over 3 hrs. They had about $1600 added in one form or another of "protection" and "Warranty" bs at first. Then after the salesman they did the usual finance upsales of Gap and extended warranty after. I said no to all and left with the truck at MSRP plus CA DMV fees, tax, and doc.

I have top tier credit. I put nothing down. 100% financed and Ford Financial was apparently offering me 6.9% for 72 months. PASS. The dealer came back with an offer from Chase Bank for 72 month at 5.89% signed and it was easy sailing home.
