I just got the call from my dealer. My Lightning came in overnight. Picking it up this afternoon!
I went from 5 weeks in production last Friday to built, shipped, delivered in 4 days.

checked with ford chat and finally got an update! it arrived at the final railyard where it will be placed on a truck to the dealership. hoping i get the call from my dealership soon! i'll probably stop by there on my way home from work to see if its arrived.

I asked dealer who generally picks up from Selkirk/Albany Ramp 46 to upstate NY and he said Brothers Auto Transport. Called them, gave last five a VIN and they said still sitting on Ramp 46. Told them it arrived a week ago and he said they would try to load it Tuesday or Wed in am and delivery by noon. He said they are playing catchup. Then told the dealer when it would arrive. Will miss the old Ford Protect rates (rate increase 10/4) but better to first check the efficiency of converting electron potential energy to kinetic energy before handing over the check.

Mine was just delivered to the dealer today! Hope yours isn't far behind being on the same railcar and all. Going to pick it up Friday, not sure how much sleep I'll get between now and then.

Just gave Brothers Auto Delivery a call and they said it's being "built into a load" at Ramp 46 in Selkirk. He said to expect Wednesday at dealer. But then the glitch, dealer just called, four of the people that do closings are now out sick with Covid at the dealer so they asked me to come Thursday. Oh well, what is one day extra on a 502 day wait

I talked to the dealer this afternoon and he confirmed chip hold with no ETA. As a result of our conversation I remain optimistic that I’ll be driving my truck soon.

I just home with my truck. A big thumbs up to Shultz Ford of Harmarville, PA. No nonsense, no BS, very professional service.
What relief to finally drive it. Really nice truck. I need to go through all the menus and get it set up for me.

Super happy with the truck so far. Drives amazing. Several people already did a much better drive report than I could, so I am going to focus on a few other things.

Dealer experience: Went to the dealer yesterday - first they tried to upsell me on a 5k care package, then later a 5k warranty package and after that 1200 dollar license plates. At what point can you just buy a car without 3 different sales conversations?!

Damage: I picked the car up yesterday, but this morning I discovered a crack i the plastic under the passenger front light. Looks like something bumped it. I'll have to get that fixed. Now I am working with the dealer on getting that taken care of.

Front License Plate - Mega holes: Not sure if Ford or the dealer install the front license plate, but I usually take it off. For the Lightning that leaves two very visible holes right under the front grill. If you plan to take it off, I suggest asking your dealer not to drill those holes!

Charger: Charging with the Ford Pro charger was flawless.. Though I could only see when the car is fully charged, not how fast it's currently charging. Not in the app, not in the truck. At least I didn't find it. Any pointers are appreciated.

The truck nor the app tell you the charging rate. Only when it expects to be completed by.

Hindsight 20/20 I feel like all (most?) of us in this group/week really hit a sweet spot, all things considered. Although we missed out on the Pro/XLT, not knowing that an Extension would have resulted in a 2023 Wave 1/2 order, here's what we got:
2022 pricing
2022 delivery, resulting in legacy tax credit applying on >$80K MSRP's
PaaK, mine was activated at delivery. Some early builds still don't have it.
Heated steering wheel and mirrors, sounds like they're gone on 2023's
Scales/smart hitch
Colors options beyond 50 shades of grey
Faster build-to-delivery compared to early build weeks
Competitive interest rates
Mobile charger included
Various state incentives that may be expiring or changing in 2023

Agree and my Paak was activated also, To add to your post, if you live in MA, you should qualify for the full $7500 rebate from MA. Also, Ford Extended warranties went up in cost yesterday. 15% increase as stated by some here in other threads.
