Thanks for the clarification. The "auto hitch" would be cool I guess, but as long as we have a decent camera view of the ball I am pretty good at that myself so no loss there. The onboard scales - I assume these are used by the software as well to calculate range etc? I can live without those probably (I guess it would be nice/neat to know if I have my trailer loaded right).

The more I look, the more I think a loaded '22 vs a new 24 is kinda the comparison. Most of the '23's seem to have been gimped in one way or another. All I am giving up with a 22 is time/warranty right? Is there a FORD extended warranty for these (that actually covers all the stuff the factory would?)
I'm partial to 2022 Lariat since that's what I own. We have taken a beating on residual though! Many of us on here have bought the Ford ESP warranty from @Granger Ford. They have online quotes/purchasing. You can purchase for a used vehicle as well: https://www.f150lightningforum.com/...ded-warranty-granger-motors.19090/post-459465

I have seen a few reacquired ones online. Mostly they are not THAT great a deal, and since this is "new tech" and I only plan on keeping it for 3-4 years, it would have to be a screaming hot deal.

My comments in red:
NO Phone as a Key - I specifically DO NOT WANT
Side Mirrors - Manual Folding NO Memory - In almost 40 years of driving pickups, I have folded one or the other mirror less than a dozen times, so I don't care.
Power Glass with Heat, Turn Signal NO AUTO DIMMING - Don't see a need for this.
NO LED Security Approach Light - Don't want.
NO Moonroof - I specifically DO NOT WANT!
NO Sliding Rear Window - Have not missed that in the last 21 years of my Dodge, so don't care.
NO Power Tilt/Telescoping Steering Column and NO Memory - I'll be the only driver so memory is a non-issue.
NON Adjustable Pedals - Again, I will be the only driver.
90 day Blue Cruise vs 3 yr Blue Cruise - I don't expect to ever use it.
Seat, Front — Leather vs Cloth NO Memory driver’s seat or ventilated on a Flash - I prefer the cloth, and don't see the need for ventilation.
With this, the flash is my way to go - now if I could only get a local dealer to ACTUALLY have any...

EDIT: https://www.carsdirect.com/deals-articles/ford-paying-dealers-to-off-load-2024-lightning-inventory
A Ford spokesperson disagreed with our characterization of the program, adding "we are encouraging our dealers to test and experience the Rapid Replenishment Center process through this incentive program. We are currently delivering within seven days on average to dealers to help support their customers."

I think I read somewhere that the dealers pull them from stock already built that are at regional centers when requested. They arrive a few days to a week after the order is placed. That way they don't need to pay for inventory on their lots. Someone else can confirm if this is so.

Check with a local dealer.

Local dealers (several of them) can actually get their hands on any of them that the Ford website says they have in stock. It's really frustrating. Been trying to buy a truck for several weeks now.
