Has anybody had a similar issue? I went to start my Lightning (which only had a little over 300 miles), and everything was dead. Both screens blacked out. None of the buttons work. My app sends a notification that Pro Power Onboard is unavailable. However, the truck still drives and seemingly has no issues in that sense. After driving for 5-10 minutes, the screens appear to want to come back but the instrument cluster just cycles through various "faults" and the infotainment screen continuously reboots. I checked the 12v battery and it was still charged. Tried re-setting it by unplugging one of the terminals and plugging back in but didn't help. I took it back in to my dealership 5 days ago and they re-programmed it and indicated the power came back on but after driving it a short distance it failed again. They believe it is an electrical short but have not had any success finding it. Anybody experience anything similar?

Ford Service needs to hire some computer engineers. ICE cars for the past twenty years have a computer hooked up and it will tell the tech exactly what is wrong and what to repair or replace. Not so with the Lightning evidently?! Read so many horror stories about numerous visits to dealership with no joy. Ford get it right! Sorry to hear this is happening to you, hope you are able to get some answers and not left with a 4:59 PM Friday Lightning.

Hi there! Go ahead and send us a private message with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer, and I’ll look into this power concern. Thanks!

I would check where the main battery cable connects to the 12v bus bar on the passenger side.
