We aren't the leading Lightning Forum !?There is a 2025 sticker posted in one of the leading Lightning forums if anyone is interested in looking for changes.
Oh - don't want to imply that at all. I direct way too many FB peeps that don't know how to use Google to this site. It's a whole different level of "I don't know" out there. We aren't the leading Lightning Forum !?
Whew, I went over to the other two forums I'm registered with, they pale in comparison to this forum, both head count and posting traffic.Oh - don't want to imply that at all. I didn't ask the guy, so didn't want to snag a copy of it either even though they are public knowledge.
The top brass at Ford doesn’t understand EVs or their customers. Farley seems like he’s starting to maybe get it, at least a little bit. I appreciate that he got the industry to make a commitment to NACS and kick off the opening of the Tesla network. I know when he drove that Xiaomi EV for a month it was a real eye-opener for him. It’s also clear from the recent interview with him about EVs and upcoming EREV vehicles that Ford doesn’t not want to be an innovator in the battery and large EV space. They’re content to wait for others to solve those problems.Ugh. whoever said on this forum that they will discontinue the lightning is probably spot on…. At least for retail. But when you go over to the fleet side they have every option in the book to order a lightning. Maybe that’s the play …who knows but Ford is all over the place with what they want to do. And to be doing this when Tesla is in freefall right now …. If ford would have stuck to their guns /timeline , and came out with a new Mach e and lightning/ 3rd row SUV this year I’m sure ford would gain market share. . But I’m not the one losing $5B a year supposedly so maybe I’m wrong.
