I inquired, did the math on 2 electric cars ( 22MME 60k miles and 23lightning 33k miles) and decided to roll the dice and do nothing. Between the fuel cost and Maintenance cost savings and the warrantee monthly cost in a year I will have enough saved to do the repair. But I’m gambling that both vehicles make it to 200k with no repairs

After several electrical issues on my 2023 the first year (rain sensor, USB ports wire harness, brake controller...) on my 2023 I decided to go the Granger Ford route.

I will be buying my first warranty next year because of all the complexity of a new model, even as "simple" as a Pro, from Ford. Variable frequency inverters, dash screens, LEDs, so many digital modules, ...
Well, just two weeks ago I wrote this. Today I purchased a premium warranty from Granger.

The tariffs are apparently coming against our next door friends this week. I think Ford will be impacted in a big way. Part prices will eventually rise, forcing repair costs up. Good business practices will force the extended warranty prices upward also.

I was going to wait, because a life disaster or accident could come along before my 36 months are up and the need for an extended warranty disappear.

This current disaster isn't theoretical any longer, I acted before prices go up..

"Elbows Up" describes what is about to happen in Ford's immediate world here in America. I certainly hope this week is better than last week for all of us.

Good choice, just connecting any newer model vehicle to a dealer computer can be very pricey! Also to mention, the updates needed aren’t all going to be free.
