Cool hoping to see this release soon,
Android Auto 12.9.143804 is currently rolling out in beta with support for the NACS charger in EVs that are “non-Tesla,”
I'm currently at 12.8.643614 android auto release.

I wonder if Waze will get updated too because they are under the Google umbrella.

Here we are with apple maps integration with Sync and IOS 18 and no NACS....

I have even found the Apple maps integration to be lacking...was in Denver a month or so back in a MME rental. Used Apple Maps as navigation in the rental was not purchased, so finding a charger was on my own. Apple Maps was not showing the EA chargers .5 miles away, sent me to a level 2 charger 2 miles away from ChargePoint. When I realized it, pulled up my ABRP app and found the EA charger. When Parked at the EA charger waiting on one to open up, Apple Maps still was not showing it unless I typed in EA...Have not tried it since, but just a problem overall if I cannot filter results and the system is not showing all the options.

Did you configure Maps to have the MME as the vehicle and that EA was set as a selected charge network?

To OP's issue, Ford says that its nav and Apple Maps should have NACS integration sometime this year.

The problem in the rental is the built in navigation would not even allow me to search without premium connectivity.
In my truck, still have the issue with inability to show Tesla chargers in the built in navigation for my truck.

What I find annoying is you can choose the charging location, it won’t replace where it currently wants you to charge at. So it kind of makes it useless when you’re using Apple Maps for a long-ish trip that takes more than 1 charge stop.

I thought you were using Apple Maps in the rental and not the built in nav? You said you had a problem with Apple Maps not routing you to EA chargers.

I did not setup the connectivity. It actually seemed to thinki it was my truck, so, should have been the same
