Looks like the 1 in the circle may be related to tolls. Just noticed that's the same icon that's in my screenshot with a Tolls note beside it.

I suspect you're correct, the route I simulated in my post did include a Toll on Route 101 running from Hampton toward Epping NH.

OK, so now I'm even more confused. We have Android Auto updates, we have Google Maps updates and associated plug types (both in app *and* the truck??), and we have unpredictable Ford software updates. What voodoo is required to get this functioning??

To get the updated Google Maps Integration for Android Auto, you have 3 options.

1. Wait for Ford to push it out OTA
2. Find someone close to you with the required equipment to update with FDRS
3. Purchase said equipment (~$1000) and install yourself with FDRS.

Do you have FDRS equipment? I'm not far from you.

yup. Have the cable and power supply. Spent about 6 hours installing all the updates on mine a month ago. What software version do you see at the top of Software Release Notes?

I just want walk away lock and Android Auto routing. How long do those modules take to do? We can take this to a PM if you want

PM'd you but, for anyone who may read this, the walk away lock will require a dealer trip as a regular FDRS license can't update the BCM.

So I tested the Android auto Google maps with the update. Good news is it works for regular driving with EV charging routing no problem.

Downside is it does not recognize tow mode. Hence the Google maps still thinks your efficiency is the same as driving without the trailer. If you used this while towing you would run out of electrons.

You can still use maps but forget about relying on it for trip planning while towing for EV charging as it doesn't adjust down your efficiency when you connect the trailer. I'm an experienced EV owner so it doesn't impact me but still something to be weary of. Hope Ford and Google can figure this out. Seems simple enough.
