What is the advantage over the Ford pass app? I do not have my Lightning yet so I have not used the it yet.

Since it's a widget, the info is available on your home screen without needing to open the FP app. It also gives you the ability to use the remote features of FP (start/stop, unlock/lock). It doesn't do everything FP does, so it's not a complete replacement.

Does this show your charging rate?

From what I have seen, Ford does not make available the charging current. The only way you can get this is via an OBD2 dongle and an application to pull it from the vehicle (like Torque Pro or Forscan or CarScan or a number of others).

It's definitely one of my top-5 items to see Ford add to information displays (both in Truck and in FordPass).

You will need to load the EV PIDs - see the link in the post I made to get them loaded.
