Anyone haul a motorcycle yet in the bed?

Has anyone hauled a motorcycle in the bed with the gate down? Any impact to range?

I have the same question. Wondering if it will fit with the tailgate closed. BMW R1250GS. I know it will fit with tailgate down.

I put my KTM 790 in the back without issue. If I move it diagonally, I can close the tail gate. Pretty much no impact on range in my experience.

I pulled this from Advrider.com. The rider who posted it said this is a 5.5' bed. So it looks like it's possible.

I saw that one, but he said “short bed” so I wasn’t sure if it was a 6.5’ bed

Since posting this, I have hauled various motorcycles in the back of the truck. The impact to range is very modest. I do park them straight in using a wheel chock. Passes the “that isn’t going anywhere” test.
