I was purchasing in December. The best I could do was 62.5K out the door (pro power, max tow, bedliner). Dealer several states away offered 60.8, but it wasn't worth the hassle of flying and driving it home. 18K off the MSRP before tax.

It was a hard buying experience because dealers quote costs and rebates differently and often do not know what to do with the EV rebate and how it affects taxes. On two occasions, I was ready to purchase based on a better deal, but once they actually ran the numbers, the price increased by 2K, and I backed out. I ended up with three dealers all at the same price, and I went with the local one that treated me well.

I just leased one a few weeks ago after my trusty 2006 Dakota finally gave it up at 246k. I have read that all EV's depreciate quickly and have poor resale value (not just the Lightning). I decided to lease instead of purchase because alternate power technology for vehicles is changing very quickly, and I am not convinced yet that EV's are the way to go. But I do love this truck so far, we will see where the world is in 3 years and then decide what my next move is.

@nolavet504 - In my area, there are quite a few 2024 Flash models that are advertised at low to mid $50k (Sound Ford in Renton, WA). I imagine you might not be down for a fly-and-drive, but just in case, the lower prices are out there.
Or, like @CircusCowboy just mentioned, starting with the ~$55k price range, and doing a lease would be more attractive.
I'm interested in the Lightning but I haven't pulled the trigger on buying one. Good luck with your search!

I paid 58.8 out the door on 1/16/25. That included taxes, registration in NC and a $699 "VIP" non-optional dealer.

Here's my link to a reddit post:

Here's the info in detail:
NOTE: I think some people are having difficulty getting the dealer to take over the $7,500 Fed EV discount and take off the price up front. I'd be nervous if I had to wait till 2026 to try to get that credit given the current opinions in DC

2024 Flash 9.6 ProPower Max Tow

Including tax, title and registration. I was searching for a unicorn and found it: Flash with Pro Power 19.6 kw AND MaxTow. Also got the mobile charger, bedliner and floor mats.

List $68,026. (A/X/Z/D Plan)
admin fee $150
NC Inspection $13.60 (lol)
State Hwy Use tax. $2,066.25
License/Title/Transfer Fees $365.25 (NC just started charging more for EVs)
Rebates $5,000 (1K Tesla Conquest, 2K EV Bonus, 1K A/X/Z/D, 1K for no charger)
Fed Tax EV Credit taken at time of purchase
They did get me for a $699 "VIP Program" non-optional Dealer insurance that covers key lost, tires and a 5K bonus if it's stolen and not recovered in 30 days. Given I really wanted this unicorn I didn't begrudge the ~1% hit.
To add the icing: they took the 5 K in rebates and the 7.5 K Fed Tax Credit and made that my "down payment" and I walked out with zero down, and 45 days till my first of 72 payments on a ZERO percent loan.
OTD price $58,820.10
pmts of $817.
I calculate the 58,820 k depleting at $817 per month from my HYSA is netting me another 3-4 k over the next 6 years. MINUS INFLATION :). So now I've rationalized that it's 55K OTD
Did I mention it's Autopilot is better than the "full self driving" on out 2017 Model S that cost 120 k in 2017!
