Forget EVERYTHING he says about C rates! If I discharge a 5 Ah cell at a 2C rate (10 A), I still only get 5 Ah out of it (probably more like 4.8 Ah), but I get it in a half hour instead of 1 hour at a 1C rate.
Learned something new today, I've seen the term xC rate bounced around in many posts but hadn't grasped what it was about, now I know..................

You will find that most modern NMC cells are charged at a C/3.33 rate and discharged at a C/2 rate. For an 80.5 Ah cell that everyone here might be familiar with ;) , that means charged at ~24 A and 40.25 A discharge (all nominal). Then you have to worry about max continuous charge/discharge, 10 second pulse charge/discharge, etc.

Just got in some LFP cells to test, so I have to study the spec sheet (or build my own) to see what is the nominal nowadays...Haven't had an LFP cell to test in about 7 years as they fell out of favor back then to LMO and then NMC.
