For anyone who has upgraded to BC 1.4. I just completed the install and not completely sure the in lane repositioning is working. Does the vehicle in the dash display move over slightly when it is repositioning for a large truck? My displayed vehicle stays put. I've seen videos of mme where the displayed vehicle scoots over. I'm not 100% sure I got the last forSCAN setting correct.

You need FDRS. it’s a paid tool ford dealers use to update modules.
AFAIK you need both right? First you need the IPMA related updates that come through FDRS.
If you already had BC 1.2 or 1.3 that alone gets you 1.4.

but if you start from 1.0, these updates get you BC 1.0 with the lane keeping algorithm improvements of 1.4, but without the lane change or repositioning features. To turn those on requires Forscan coding changes, which I’m not aware is doable via FDRS.

I haven't had a chance to use BC since we spoke about this, but BC 1.4 is capable of working without having the latest IPC update (6.8.0). It won't show some of the animations associated with BC 1.4, but it will still work. Even with FDRS, many people have not had the new IPC show for them when it was due for some reason. I would need the VIN of a truck that got 6.8.0 to compare the data t yours to see if you have that update or not.

Edit: If you have the SoC in the IPC, then you have the latest IPC. After giving this a bit more thought, it is possible that it is a Mach E only feature. The changes to enable BC 1.4 on the Lightning and F150 are identical, but the changes needed for the Mach E differ as they do have different hardware compared to our vehicles.

I do feel truck move a bit when there is semi beside me

The IPC doesn't show for me either (I have 6.8.0 that shows SoC on dash)

I think the F150 IPC is still old version comparing to Mach-E as the lane changing UI is also quite different and seems old and weird.

I think you guys are correct. Just different IPC software. The MME shows a cool changing direction line when lane changing that we don't. I'm sure it will be updated soon.
