Howdy-Hey.

Looking to prepare for our Retrax Pro XR install (second time around, obviously, as our original F150 Lightning had it but we didn't remove it after the accident) and I'm thinking I might look at a more... clean install.

Last time, I ran the 12-volt power cable from the bottom of the bed along the chassis rails and into the battery compartment, and attached the 12-volt power directly there. This time, I'm considering running it through the cab and out one of the rubber cover holes in the rear of the cab. Does anyone have any ideas which of the passenger-side fusebox slots is either aux-switched or always-on? I know there are some spare fuse slots in there, and yes, I could get the meter out and trace it, but if someone has already done the work, I won't say no ;)

I'm not worried about phantom drain as the cover seems to behave itself there, but if I can get it running off the aux powered circuit that's even better.

Nikki.

Try slot #25. It's used on the ICE truck but not the Lightning. Hot all the time.

I missed that you got a new truck. Same as the old truck?

Thanks for your YouTube Forscan video btw. Very helpful.
