Hey everybody. I’m new to the forum, and I am in the process of trading my 2018 F250 in for a new F150 xlt. I’m going to level and swap out the tires before I take delivery. My dealer is saying the ready lift will void the front end warranty, but says they are fine with using the bilsteins to level the truck. So far, I don’t see any new bilsteins for the 2021 model. Does anybody know if last years will fit the 21s

I would do whatever the dealer tell you keeps your warranty intact. For that matter, if the dealer is going to do the work, certainly let them do it that way they want. If there is ever an issue, you can show that it was dealer installed and you took delivery like that.

All that being said, my dealer said that a leveling kit of any kind will keep the warranty intact. That there is no reason to worry. I take that with a grain of salt...

I don’t think the dealer is telling you the truth about warranty being voided. Regarding bilsteins, had them on my 18’ for leveling. They suck IMO on ride quality.

I have Bilstein 5100’s on my 2018 KR set at max height, and the truck rides like stock. Plan on getting them for my 2021 Plat.
I posted this same question, one answer I got was that a 2021 had the 2015-2020 fox 2.0 coilovers installed with no issues.

In the past, our dealer pretty much let anything go. But the last couple years they have been requiring people to sign a waiver. I’m for sure not willing to give up warranty for the front end.

My brother just put the 5300s on his 2020 f150. With Bfgoodrich ko2 35s. It rides perfect, with not rubbing. I’m just curious if the same part number will work on the 2021s. Or if they have found a new part number.

I completely agree. As the 2021 is the 1st model year of the 14th Gen, if the dealer isn't going to agree to maintain the warranty, I can cruise comfortably stock until the warranty runs out.

Yes, I seen that video posted well. I’m almost afraid to ask what the cost of those would be compared to the bilsteins.

Did we ever figure out if bilstein 5100 for a 2020 will work on the new 2021?

I just finished installing a set of 18-20 eibach’s (identical to 5100) on my 21. No fitment issues at all.
