I use it with other providers that are in network for which I do not have a direct account, [ie. ChargePoint] I don't use them often so turning on P&C for that event was quick and easy, once done flip it off before checking in with EA.

Huh - I have never gotten P&C to work with Chargepoint, or really anywhere except EA.
It worked for me recently, I was motivated to experiment with it after getting an information update that more providers were added to the P&C network. Need to use FP charging stations in maps to locate the provider and initiate the session.
