Yeah, but sometimes you can get VCs to pay for the sandwich. I'm figuring that's how this is working and funding will dry up and the company will declare bankruptcy. Optimistically, I think because you have to put money into the account, they're betting they'll be able to make investments with that money and the ROI will more than return the discount of the charge. Plenty of companies have tried similar schemes in the past, and I don't know of any that survived for more than a couple years. We'll see how this goes.Ain’t no free lunch.
