Thanks!

Did charge rate get added in an update? I swear last time I checked that wasn't there, but it has been awhile.
I remember seeing it since Aug of 2022, are you using an Android? Based on some posts I’ve been suspecting it’s only available on Apple apps.

Oh, could be. Yes, I am on Android. Lack of being able to see charging rate sucks! I will check when I plug in later tonight

I think it was added several updates ago on Apple anyway.

Great. More stations that won't work but will gladly make you sign up for a trash app to get your personal info.
Please. Please. Get the Ford Tesla supercharging network going. Tesla *rocks*

I have no interest in using the FordPass Blue Oval charging network if it doesn’t give you the members preferred price plan. The tiny bit of additional convenience isn’t worth it. As an alternative, I like the idea - suggested in another posting - of Ford negotiating better rates with the charging networks and including them in its own plan.

So used francis energy last week after using the charge assit app to find a 150kw charger. I was so passed at the fact that I couldn't get their charging station to work. I could not do quest checkout or pay with card. I also could not sign up for an account. All failures in their app. Finally was able to get quest charging working but the station failed to connect to my truck. I finally moved to another station beside it and got it to work with quest checkout. Francis energy sucked and only gave me 105kw of the 150kw.

After I finished charging I test the charge assist active charging station and it worked flawlessly. So if the charge assist controls everything then I should be happy. One charger still wouldn't work though.

Here are pics from FordPass when I am connected to my Home 80amp Charge Staction Pro, press the Details “button” in the “Charging” overlay:

The next page will show you the details, including the Kw speed:

This should look pretty much the same when you are on a DC Fast Charger except the Type will reflect DC Fast.

Hope this helps.
I have not had the "Details" button or "Charge to 100%" buttons in my app for months. Anyone else missing functionality on their apps?

Edit: I am on Android.

They only appear when you are actively charging - you say they are not showing up then?

Do you see your current state of charge updating correctly? If not could be a FordPass / Truck modem connectivity issue.

Correct. I do not see them while charging. I used to see it but they disappeared a while back and never came back. Charging SOC does update but I have to refresh twice to get the SOC and the time of update correctly.

In the truck, I always have to set the one time charging limit twice for the software to accept it. At this point my expectation is so low, I am happy truck runs and charges. Lack of convenience and correct info I can live with. I just want to make sure there is nothing on my end I could do to improve it.

I am using FordPass 4.30.2 on Android 13

Let’s ping @Ford Motor Company on the thread and see if they can connect with you and do some digging - they will probably ask for your VIN number via direct message.

I bet they can get you squared away - they resolved a major connectivity issue I was having and they were very communicative through the entire process.

Among 100k, 90% are L2 chargers. Among DC chargers, 1/4 are not working, 1/4 are <50kW, 1/4 cannot reach claimed 150-350kW, and the 1/4 that >150kW have waiting lines.

That's the sad facts.

I'm assuming this email is related to the update. Has anyone canceled and resubscribed yet?

I figured it out. @Ford Motor Company is taking these features (seeing charging details and ability to charge to 100% while charging) hostage by tying them to driving data. I had sharing my driving data off so I could not see and use these features. How fast I drive, how many times safety features activated has nothing to do with those features but I bet is something insurance companies will pay for. I always had driving data setting off but lost these abilities a while back. This makes me really worried about the future updates. What other capabilities I am going to lose if I value my privacy? This is messed up. Ford, please stop these shady practices and fix this if you value our trust and loyalty.
