Had rattles in 3 doors after pickup but was able to take care of 2 myself by adjusting the doors, however, the rear passenger door still rattles, which is driving me crazy. I sold my Tesla primarily for rattles, so feeling a little unhappy here.

Any tips on how to handle?

Also noticed the factory spray in bedliner is peeling from the edge, so guess I have to chase that down as well.

This probably isn't helpful but awhile back I noticed a rattle coming from the front passenger door, it turned out that my last passenger had flipped the seatbelt around somehow and the buckle was rattling against the door frame.

Unfortunately, it's not the seat belt. Seems to be coming from around the door seals.

My forward passenger door had a rattle that drove me insane! I fixed it my sliding some felt tape inbetween the door trim and the door frame. On account of that, I was fully expecting it. My last 2 F-150s had the same issue and the Lightning was no different. Once a Ford, always a Ford 😂

Rattles in the first 20k for me:
  1. Driver's door seal (fixed, but only lasted 8k miles) ongoing
  2. Passenger plastic trim opposite mirror
  3. Driver's window switch plate
  4. Gauge cluster bezel
  5. Sunroof crossbar
  6. Wiring harness behind glovebox
  7. Rear window glass (TSB) but still rattles when not shut (ongoing)
  8. Front passenger seat (ongoing)
  9. Passenger door card (ongoing)

GOOD LUCK!

I'm sorry, but that's maddening.

I take comfort in knowing the B&O will drown out any rattles. In all seriousness, the truck is very quiet inside, even at highway speed, so any rattles will sound accentuated.

I bought an EV to have a peaceful place to be after a not so peaceful day at work... Not to listen to it's shitty build quality rattle over every bump.

Should've known better.

I understand. However, the Lightnings build quality and comfort is eons ahead of a Tesla and alot of other manufacturers. Ill take that over some slight rattles here and there. Seems like you’re still in warranty, I would get it documented at a dealer and see what they can do for you.

Oh God. What have I done? The rattles on my Model X were driving me insane and the Lightning was supposed to be rattle free and quiet. lol

YES, this drove me nuts for a week! When I figured it out I had a good laugh 😂. Glad to see your note to know I wasn’t the only one 😆 Thanks
