Hey guys, I have perused the forum and havent found much related to this. I know about the TSB for the clicking during accel/deccel and the half shaft issue. However, I am getting a front end clicking when turning full left or right and at slow speed. Does anyone have any experience with this?

I do. Dealer says it’s fine. I’m just going to drive it. I have a seat replacement coming soon so I’ll follow up then but it’s done it since I’ve had the truck and I’ve had all the tsbs completed.

Did they say what the source was?

Hi there! Will you send us a message with your VIN and your local Ford dealer? I can look into things on my end.

I fixed the issue with the clicking. I retorqued the forward left wheel and it went away. I found that all my tires were under torqued- albeit all under torqued to the same value. It seems like they were hovering around 120 FT-LBS.

Was this still factory or have you had your wheels rotated?
If so, by who?

You mean the actual wheel lugnuts were loose from the factory? That’s very odd, and slightly terrifying

Yes the actual lugnuts. I would not say that they were loose as if the wheels were going to fall off. They were definitely tightened and for all I know, 120 FT-LBS is the new torque for these wheels. However, I have always torqued my F150 wheels to 150 FT-LBS. The difference was enough to minimize whatever axial play there was. Again, it was only one wheel making the sound and I found that all were torqued to the same value from factory.

Back in 2022 just a few days into ownership. I had to get a punctured tire dealt with and brought it to my long time mechanic and he told me he found all the lugnuts loose on all four tires.

Seems like the robot over at the rouge plant needs some calibration then.

Alright so after going through some twisties on my last road trip, the clicking sound has come back with a vengeance. Im thinking the nuts have come loose slightly and the wheel is walking on the hub. It seems like its only the front left wheel and it clicks when putting weight in it (like a right turn).
