I understand the Lightning can get updates OTA but can it also get updates using my home's Wifi ?

I ask because my home Wifi is super fast and my EV charger also connects to it as well.

Hoping I can leverage the fast internet connection instead of relying on old 4G cellphone speeds.

As of now:

No, you will not get updates faster.

In the car menus under "Connectivity".

In fact, many believe that most of the updates to date have been cellular, and only after the vehicle is driven.

You cannot make updates come before Ford queues them up to your vehicle.

The scheduling of updates is WHEN to APPLY an update that requires immobility for a period of time. Selecting "Automatic Updates" and driving your vehicle is considered the best way to get updates.

Lastly, I believe the Lightning is 5G.
