Well, you'd be the first I've heard of anyone getting an order in but not having it built in 2022...assuming your dealer is correct.

Seriously...It looks like your dealer placed your order without your input. Did you actually tell them how you wanted it optioned? They are telling you that your order will not come in this year (because they ordered what they wanted to sell) and when asking Ford to help with this situation (that the dealer created) they tell you to go to the dealer (who you can't trust). Where is our official Ford representative to help with this situation?

They did not order without discussions with me, however when I advised that I needed the truck to help with a proof of concept, suggestions where made on which configuration would work best. I am told ZERO chance of getting a truck this year and expect to pay more for 2023 and FORD will not match my 2022 order pricing. I have no idea who could help at FORD Canada, I kind of scared if I piss of Dealer "Which I do trust" I will never see the truck.

Were you ordering non-standard parts? Power running boards? What was the reasoning for not getting the truck in 2022?

Wanna know how to charge it for free without stealing? Easy.
1. Install lightning rod about 100 yards from truck.
2. Attach wire to said lightning rod.
3. Run other end to 220 converter.
4. Plug charger station to converter.
5. Plug charger into truck.
When lightning strikes, you shoud be fully charged within 7 seconds.

I am truly just try to find out if I can fix this, if there is someone in Ford to chat it out. If FORD could only offer 15,000 Vehicles would it not have be the correct choice to only send that many invitations to order the vehicles there prepared to Build, Like say you are invited to Order you Lariat 510 or Platinum today, sorry no other packages are available? This would have prevented expectation and disappointments. Well Maybe they will consider this next time they send invitations to order.
- How did you know to go into dealer to place an order, Ford corporate email or text message?
- Status change on your ford.com reservation convert to order?
- Do you show progression of the ordering process on your Ford.com reservation/order screen like this?
If you have gone through these steps, and your screen is similar to the above .....THEN .... you're waiting in line like the 15,000 other mensch, eventually you will have your truck, just not your time line and business plan.
Nothing to fix, Ford has priorities to run the production line as efficiently as possible, there are still 46 forum members who ordered on 1/6 [wave-1] that are waiting for build week dates. Similar for subsequent weeks as well. Your truck will come assuming the dealer has not done something shady to steal your order from you.
