Following the recent update related to "Improved Connectivity" I find that when using remote start, either after being plugged in and charging or just sitting, I nolonger get my seat or steering wheel heat to automatically come on. The cabin heats just fine, but nothing else. I have gone into settings for remote start and confirmed both are actuated. I have also tried turning remote start off, seats off, etc., then back on, but no luck.
Interesting thing is, if i just use key entry, both the seat heat and steering wheel heat come on, just as I left them.
Any suggestions?

Our recent and current Temps are mostly above freezing, in the 0 to 5 degree Celsius range. The truck parks in my garage which is currently around 5 degrees Celsius at night.

Your experience is similar to mine following the same update, lucky that spring is right around the corner, hopefully this will resolved in a future update before winter 24/25.

When I first noticed the problem:

All jokes aside, my truck didn't precondition this morning. I'm guessing due to the time change. New years day it also glitched.

I used departure timer this morning to prepare for a drive to the airport scheduled for a leave time of 3:45, I set the timer to 3:35, it kicked off the battery warming phase at 2:53, timed out at 3:45 as intended, used 8 kWh of energy to get battery and cabin warm, though seat & wheel were chilly.
The event was created Sunday afternoon, though that might be the distinction.

Exactly, I parked and plugged in Saturday night and didn't touch it until this morning. I edited the schedule today. The truck cabin was heating by the time I made it to the end of the block, battery temp was a little cool but it had maintained a 100% power level. Only -6 deg C but I'm so happy to have the heated wheel now.
